The best review is EVER seen of the 2 guitars. No crazy effects and getting the best quality sounds out of both guitars. Thank you!

Such a good demo, well done! T5z pro is definitely my pick, but the Classic definitely has a special softer side sonically

Glad to see Haggerty's expanding their inventory!! I've actually known Tim, Tom & Dan ever since I was little.
In fact, my mom grew up there doors down from the Haggerty's on Lanark Rd in Rapid City!! So happy to see the business thriving!!!
    Keep up the good work!!

The changes were actually just cost cutting effort. Playability is no different than the earlier models, just marketted differently. And the controls were not only more visible where they were, but just as easily accessed. All this model will accomplish is making the originals more in demand. But that's just me, a proud owner of a 2017 T5z Pro.

Nice review. They sound very close to each other. I think they should have change the blade switch to a most electric guitar friendly position too (in the pro). Best regards.

I have a T5z and am trying to incorporate it into my electric guitar tunes. I really like it overall, but for now it's not likely to replace any of my Fenders. I didn't hear anything overly exciting with the Pro model and it's currently priced at nearly $4K. It's quite a premium to pay for just aesthetics. I may at some point get a DLX which is only $200 more than the Classic, and it has a nicer appearance.

Damn. The new pro has the knobs where they are supposed to be (BUT is volume "pinky finger accessible"?),
but the classic has the better, fuller or softer acoustic tone. Is it the wood type?

Can it go direct to a PA, like a traditional electric-acoustic?

How do they sound completely unplugged/ no amp?

Classic clean is good...and on both....driven Pro hands down is better.

Why does nobody take about what the loss of an F hole does..
    Does it lower feedback..
    Does it lower acoustic volume
    Does it do anything??

Has some quack in there. Not what I was expecting. Classic had better depth.

Your bass and treble knobs on the classic are WAY off.

Definitely not $2,999 sound, at least not in this review.

It sounds thin, just like how thin its body is.
