Get an extension rod mate save your back plus if you overlap at 50% you will get much better coverage and a 517lp tip runs about 1600 to 1800psi to spray well hope this helps cheers
I used this and it keeps going into prime mode at annoying noise dont know why its doing it now it wont spray through the tip spent a grand on it not used it since
Sorry for the late response only just figured out how to respond to UA-cam comments. Had no issues so far I would recommend it. Thanks for taking the time to comment pal
What tip were you using? I have just started using the GX21 as redecorating the whole house again. I'd also be interested if you go through as much paint as I do
So sorry for the late repose, only just figured out how to reply on my comments, I used the green RAC X LP517 Low-Pressure Tip. that room was about 46m2 walls and ceiling I think I used about 10 L for one coat of paint
Sorry for the late response only just figured out how to respond to UA-cam comments. I I had the pressure turned up quite high but I can't recall the exact pressure. Paint the loss was not so bad
I don’t see the point of what you were doing at all in the order of operations of painting a room. First of all you should paint the trim first two coats and then cover it with tape and paper. With the trim and doors completely covered you should sand all of the walls quick with 120 to 150 paper. I would encourage the use of a festival sander to contain all the dust. Now go ahead and paint the ceiling flat ceiling paint. The ceiling you may spray one coat with a 618 tip and you’re done. Then go ahead and cut in the walls next to the ceiling and around the doors and roll two coats and you’re done. This step that you are doing to me is completely unnecessary.
I find if you spray wood first you have a higher build on the walls where the overspray has hit the walls and can be seen in the light. Depends on the level of perfection but for timesaving your way but when its high perfection it has to be ceiling and walls first for me. Masking up can be a drain this way though.
Sorry I do not like your style. 1. Do not proper overlap. 2. Cofee and coulk gun in the field 3. Electric switch not protected or in the position. 4 .other electrical cable not organized for painting operation. 5. Change the speed of painting gun , stay to much in same position, sometimes to close to wall. Correct yourself.

Hey mate, thanks for the videos, not many reviews of the GX21 on UA-cam. How much spraying do you do with it and any issues?
