Carol and Negan are the duo we didn’t know we needed.
Gotta love Negan taking the play from Rick Grimes playbook when he cut Alpha’s throat.

Lydia walked through the forest alone and injured Negan caught her to keep her from falling into the hands of the Whisperers and at the same time used her to trap Alpha if he failed to divert her course He had difficulty killing Alpha because of her appearance when he thought of his sick wife She looks like his wife That’s why he couldn’t kill her sooner As simple as that.
Everything is due to Carol So she asked Daryl not to hate her So she looked intensely at Glenn’s picture That was what the conversation with Eugene was about.

And yea, lots of weird but cool first interactions like Carol and Eugene who don’t have many scenes together, and even Carol and Negan who never had an on screen interaction before
This was such another great episode but this was another favourite season of mine after season 9 rip gamma and Earl loved this end bye alpha you were great btw carols revenge for Henry she wanted alphas head too
RIP to Earl (his death was super sad made me teary eyed) and Mary didn’t expect her to die so soon)
Negan finally killing Alpha was great to see having the previous main antagonist of the show kill the current main antagonist just feels great lol what an episode this was.
Can we put our hands together for Samantha Morton as Alpha Phenomenal performance and one of the best villains of the series We loved to hate her so much and cheered when she met her comic end.
I love how the season 7-8 villain killed the season 9-10 villain

When will these Whisperers learn you don’t talk to Beta you don’t sneeze around Beta you don’t breathe around Beta or He will kill you But all jokes aside Beta getting recognized clearly has it’s significance.
Negan took her to make her safe If anyone else of the Whisperers had seen her they would have been taking her to Alpha.
She wasn’t safe before Alpha was dead.
Negan liked Alpha a lot but you don’t hurt kids.
One of my favorite episodes. Negan has been the most interesting character on t.v. since Walter White.

I think Carol questioned her decision on releasing Negan at this point of the Season because Alpha was attacking so she knew he hadn’t completed the mission I think everything else was done in case he didn’t follow through with the plan Her recklessness definitely took Daryl’s mind off Negan for a while Amazing episode and genuinely shocked reactions.
Negan was keeping Lydia safe by removing her from the game board she was no longer running around the woods to be captured by Alpha I was at full yes Negan at this How times change I think also that was why Carol was staring at paintings of Glenn She was feeling bad for letting his killer out.

I'm not sure exactly what intentions Negan had when he tried to convince Alpha about the error of her ways - if her mind had gone in the direction he hoped in regards to Lydia, what would he have done, seeing as he was basically Carol's sent hitman with a pressing job to do. Eternity in prison for Alpha, Lydia get visitation rights? That's not gonna sit well with many within the communities.
Then again, he did put the 'money on the table' with Beta who luckily misinterpreted his words. "I'm not here for you. I'm here for Alpha."
