Hi there! Good question, we are finding short term rentals are more than Thailand.... but we are still looking. Restaurant Food and grab taxis are cheaper and groceries are reasonable too. Some things are more, some less. I think this comparison would be a great video idea! Thanks
Short term rental prices are high in KL....definitely more challenging to book budget accommodations. Most agents tend to push you into Airbnb if you're not looking for a 1-year contract. Airbnb prices seem to be very high for what the units offer. if you're looking for a long term contract prices at more affordable. Food really varies depending on your tastes...lots of options for all budget ranges.
Prices have gone up since the pandemic began.
Ya, seems like that everywhere these days! 😭😭
tho the prices are hiking up but for both of them are still cheap tho 😅..rite?🤭
@pegangagamakeranaitusiapak576 comparing to Canada, yes, the prices are cheap..... but we don't live there anymore.... so for us home is where we are..... that includes the prices of things. I find Malaysia and Thailand both have pluses and minus'! 👍 don't be fooled just because we are Canadians we think the prices are ALWAYS cheap in South east Asia.....
been to Borneo yet?
.... it's in the plan! 👍
If you have lots of money, everywhere is EASY to live. 😁
You are not wrong!.... we just fall into THAT category 🤣🤣
Alchohol is usually more expensive in Muslim dominated countries.
Makes sense

Thhose price of grapes are the same as the US. Yikes
Hi there 👋 grapes have been one of the fruits that's consistently been expensive in S.E.A. Not everything is cheap....I can tolerate Canada and US prices.... but when it's $25 dollars a container..... they stay at the store! 🤣🤣
How to find your contact details
