    Wish you guys would make a video on how to actually adjust the pack and not technical explanations on what the adjustments are based on.

      Hi Nicolas, thanks for your feedback. This is a great video for people who are first learning about pack fit and sizing. If you have questions about how to adjust a particular pack, we are happy to help!

    I've just used my Atmos 65 for the first time, and it felt like it was pulling on my shoulders backwards. I've tightened everything that I can think of, adjusted torso length etc, but nothing seems to help. Anyone got any suggestions I can try? I don't have this problem with my Aether. Thanks.

    can the Talon 11 or 22 be suitable for females or are they specifically for males? thanks!

    • @ospreypacks
      @ospreypacks  4 роки тому

      It can definitely be suitable for a female! However, we do have the counterpart to the Talon which is specifically designed for women. It's called the Tempest. Here's the link: www.osprey.com/us/en/product/tempest-20-TEMPEST20_307.html

      Hi Jorge, are you confused about how to measure your torso? If so, we have some visuals on our size and fit page. Also happy to answer other questions here.

      Osprey sucks at this. The information isn't even in the manual.

    I have an older model aether 60 and I’m having trouble getting it to direct the weight onto my hips (that’s the idea right?).
    I’ve messed around with the hip belt (it has hook/eye connectors too) moving it up and down, but I now get the feeling that’s not supposed to be adjusted like that? How should the hip belt be vertically aligned relative to the pack?

    • @ospreypacks
      @ospreypacks  4 роки тому

      Hi Duncan, sorry to hear you are having trouble with the fit. To start, we suggest loosening all straps including hip belt, load lifters and shoulder straps/harness. Once they are all loose, you'll put the pack on and adjust the shoulder straps first by pulling them back like you're doing a lateral pull exercise. Then, you'll center your hip belt and tighten so the buckles are in front of your belly button. This should be comfortably tight but not too much. Last, you will adjust the load lifters. This should help distribute the weight more evenly. If you are still having trouble after that, please reach out to customer service and they can assist. Cheers!

      ospreypacks thank you, but I’m asking a different question: my problem is understanding where the hip belt (and shoulder straps) should be positioned using the hook-and-eye connection: I think they’re not set at the correct places for my body, and no amount of strap adjustment is going to fix that

      @@ospreypacks I realize that this is an older video, but everything I read about pack fitting - including getting fitted at REI, was to adjust and tighten the hip belt first.
