In 1991, volunteers from the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad installed a dual gauge or three-rail track in Antonito, Colorado. This exhibit showcases what the Denver & Rio Grande Western three-rail track between Alamosa and Antonito, Colorado, was like.
The dual gauge exhibit can still be viewed at the Antonito, Colorado, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Depot.
