I live in PE and yes the one thing that annoys me is that there is no place to view the planes like how cape town airport is like where you can but the only place you can see them is at the wimpy on the second floor
PE does not have an intl airport. Only local flights around SA. Heavies cannot land there as runway is too short for starters. Cape Town, Durban and JHB do.
It stays an International Airport because it has a Home Affairs office for arrivals. It also does cater for some smaller international planes because the Saudi royalty occasionally land here to go to their farm up towards East London

Because there was an international flight that landed there once, I think during FIFA WC and snatched that IS status forever😂

Love your content David 👍 Please do Chris Hani Baragwanath, when you have time
I was mighty surprise how small this airport is compare to cape town and jhb airport
Is it not because CT and Jhb are big towns as compared to PE?
@@nomalungelongcete5875 East London is way smaller than PE and even its airport looks massive compared to this
The Wimpy at PE airport is absolutely filthy dirty
Does no one assist with check in!?
The airport has been neglected as per the usual anc style!
This is the kakkest airport. It has not been upgraded or maintained ever. Typical PE!
