6:19 - Call 000 and report it! I don't understand why drivers do not. I have on a few occasions. One driver I reported and folowed was off his face on alcohol, illegal drugs and prescription medication --> According to the officer. A free phone call SAVES LIVES ;-)
Why are they following that close when the car in front is all over the road if there is a head on crash the DC car is involved in crash
1:19 The joys of driving a hard-to-see car. You get to blast your horn more frequently and test out your brakes and reactions. When truckers can't see you, you get forced off the road.
2:05 The rule states that when entering a roundabout you must give way to any car already on the roundabout. But what should you do if that nong stops half way in?
13:31 What a stinker of a roundabout. Confusing layout that invites crashes. DC driver should stick right and exit in the same lane he entered (the right lane). If he did this the van would have had the left lane to itself.
Re 2:05 they then fall under the obstruction rule and you can go around :)
14.30 the side mirror is like an ornament, it doesn't serve any actual purpose, kind of makes the car look pretty

When you consider the number of immigrants from countries where you basically just buy your licence. And the fact that when they get here the government just rubber stamps them to drive here. Are you surprised with the number of idiots on the road.

We used to see the occasional red light runner but now people seem to think it is some sort of game and that it is actually funny to endanger people’s lives.
On the other hand I have seen some terrible takes on here blaming a B Double driver for running a red. Put it this way if he was doing 70 and the light goes red you do not want them to slam on the brakes to stop.
Sure some deliberately run them and don’t care but responsible truck drivers judge the situation at hand and make a judgement call based on probabilities of danger if they brake hard. Some of the phasing of lights do no suit heavy vehicles either where as a car driver can stop far more easily in that phase. Just something to mull over.
Yes, slamming on the brakes could cause the rig to jack-knife, then everyone might be in a bigger bucket of shit.

Hats off to the people clearing the road for the ambo (yes I know, this is a legal requirement), and a big screw you to the entitled truck driver who cheated traffic by sneaking behind the ambo.

1:05 That's one reason to have a two way radio, you hear that call and see two trucks coning at you, you back off an let them complete the overtake. Takes you 20 seconds to help out a truckie. I've heard a truck warn 2 other trucks about a badly broken section of road telling them to go around it, as I've crested ahead of him he told them to stop cause I was coming. I jumped on the two way told them to keep coming I'll pull up, let them go round and continued on, took a whole 30 seconds to help out

I think we're going to need a bigger building to house the ever growing peanut gallery of all these bad drivers. Sbtf Volkswagen Tiguan definitely had P-plater traits. However I think that the Kenworth K200 B-double should've gotten sbtf because of the dangerous overtaking manoeuvre he performed. Overtaking another truck mind you. DC vehicle obviously had a UHF and made his feelings known via that. Hope the offending truck driver watched this. If the dumb-arse award was presented in this episode it would've definitely gone to the driver of the gold Toyota Echo sedan. Opening the door into busy traffic is dangerous and you can be fined for that as well I believe. Glad there doesn't appear to be any serious injuries. Brown trousers for both drivers there would've been the only worry. Always look before opening the door otherwise the very thing demonstrated in this episode will happen, your drivers door gets taken out. Has the potential to cause injury too. What were your thoughts on that one Scotty? Nice classics at the end. Green VJ Valiant Charger was my favourite.

I just tried looking up that '49 Tessie to see what it was, and for some reason Google doesn't know what it is. I keep being pointed either at pictures of a Bugatti Type 49 (now rare as rocking horse droppings and kept in vaults) or women's summer dresses.

Population UK 67 Million, Australia 26 Million and New Zealand 5 Million. Bearing in mind the UK is the size of a wasps balls why do you guys have so many accidents and more fatal collisions per capita than us? All that space and somehow you crash into each other 😧🇬🇧
Part of the answer is that much of "all that space" is unsuitable for significant populations. Over half the population live in just 3 cities on the east/south-east (Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney) - which are the source for 95% of these videos.
@@AnotherDoug in fact it’s only 12 million live in those cities as of 2023. The fact is that even in those cities you have much larger roads compared to the UK. 1266 Australia vs 1633 UK deaths for 2023. Very poor road management tbh when you consider we have 2.5 times more people living here. We also have 3 times as much rain. Snow and ice….dont even go there.
