Always great videos coach! And so right about: Don't change each year + The playbook must not only fit to your players but to the coach! For me my 3 bases may be: 1) To have a (real) Tight-End whatever the formation because this player alone complicate the job of the opponent defenses. 2) To be able to split at any moment receivers far on each side because the defenses are more effective if you let them pile up in the box. 3) The deception, the deception, the deception. Our guys are not strong & good enough to indicate in advance the spot of attack. So yeah the Pistol & Pistol Power TY for your great videos - GG
why do you think more teams don't merge the wing-t with the flexbone option attack? It just seems a natural fit to me, even out of a pistol formation, I lean toward more of a TE or nasty split vs. 2 wides along with the heavy or tackle over strong with Tb in slot on weakside like Air Force uses a lot
Thank you for this. I find out soon if I’m selected to coach a junior football team (5th and 6th or 7th and 8th). This helped me in case I’m placed in a coordinator position (which I’m hoping).
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me
I let the facts speak for themselves. I love the Nebraska teams of the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, but if you’re looking for a run heavy offense that can destroy the defense when it does go play action. No one does it better than the Air Force Academy. A great running game for the old Nebraska teams is actually an average game for the Air Force Academy.
Good ole Wishbone triple option with unbalanced lines and varied splits
New York jets defense wide 9 over I wanna learn it please master

Thanks coach! Good stuff. I love using a real Tight End, especially one that is both a receiving threat and a blocker.

Coach, if I like to pass, how many pass concepts should be in my system?
I love throwing the ball, we have one quick game concept and 5 drop back concepts. They can be tagged to create a lot of different looks.
Hey coach, what are some great resources on power read?
Focus on the Power blocking scheme. I'm biased, but we do a pretty good job in the Pistol Power Offense System inside JDFB Coaching Systems.
