LIVERPOOL England here, I've been following her for over 4 yrs now and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't listen to her, she is definitely an obsession, she was in a theatre production of camp rock in the Philippines but that is the only theatre production that she has done, I defy anyone to find me ANYONE BETTER, she's just unbelievably MAGNIFICENT, and to think that all the doors that have closed on her, she's just come back and kicked them all in, this session was done all in one day, the other 3 songs are DEFYING GRAVITY, SHE USED TO BE MINE and I'LL GIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
I need a daily fix of mori squeaks, growls, whistles, belting, etc, without taking a breath, and these grow on you... insane.. she's a delight and a joy to listen to.

Have been following Mori for the last 3 years from germany, and I must have my daily dose of Morissette, I fell hook line and sinker for her, that tone is a lot like Whitney in the 90s, she has everything, she is the only singer who has made me cry an old man of 67, that takes something.
Same here. I'm no spring chicken but I listen to her every day. Never gets old. Been listening since I was blessed to stumble upon her reaction videos at the beginning of pandemic.

Morissette is like a Jukebox that you can select a song ang will play your favorite. I'm in my mid-50's and she's the only artists that I know who can sing in all genres, with the most Singing techniques and can sing in several languages. 😍🏆
There are two more performances from this session, and I think they are the best from this series: Defying Gravity from Wicked and She Used To be Mine from The Waitress. Must see!!!! 💜💚💛

I know I’m in the minority, but Mori’s cover of “someone like you” is MY personal favorite from this series. It’s so understated at the start but explodes into this fantastic sound of expression and emotion. Thanks for kicking off the series with this. Most reactors tend to overlook this. 😍

I have fallen in love with her voice and I’m addicted to her tone. Her higher register is so clean and clear and her vibrato is to die for. I don’t care what genre she sings as long as she SINGS!!

Mori is a pro I’ve never heard any artist that can sing in any genre and make sound as good as mori she is a pleasure to listen to I can listen to her sing everyday and never get bored her personality and the emotions but most of all that humble smile is so adorable you can’t help but feel happy i believe she will be a house hold name around the world in the near future

Why hasn’t anyone signed her up yet for broadway shows? People will be lining up not for the show but to hear her sing. Producers don’t know what they are missing. She is a gem.

You're missing 'Defying Gravity' and 'She Used to be Mine'. My favorite is 'Memory' because she sang it flawlessly.
And yes, she has performed musical theatre (one time only).
It's not really inconceivable that Mori can sing musical pieces. She listens and appreciate all genres of music. She can do jazz, rock and she's even signed as a gospel singer (which she loves to listen to). And she sings all the time which shows you how passionate she is about her craft. And she enjoys it too.
The genre killer, the game changer, Jill of all trades.
The unique thing about her is that everyone loves her regardless of age, race, nationality, or anything else. Don't know of any other performers that are so universally liked.

I thought she sung all 6 songs from Broadway as a live stream set not sure of the mike set up but these were recorded from her home. On her UA-cam page you can see many videos with her familiar Christmas lights behind her. She also sang l’d Give My Life For You from Miss Saigon in addition to Defying Gravity from Wicked and She Used To Be Mine from The Waitress.
Heard on a livestream that her initial audio was via a shotgun mic above her and Stages Sessions provided the sweetening.
Don’t worry how long this is I enjoyed listening and watching her sing.
She will be performing this month in San Francisco on 5th, Dallas on the 11th, Chicago on the 13th and Virginia on the 19th with Erik Santos and Christian Bautista, a Threelogy Concert

There's so much to say about Morissette here, but for me, *it's the way she articulates her mouth.* Those cheeks and lips, and all her articulation muscles are doing *WORK!* And the way she emotes her face! She could've fooled me that Broadway isn't her comfort zone! If I had to pick one, it has to be her performance of "Someone Like You". The way she built that song up was a masterpiece. I can't tell if she's just being modest or if she really thinks she sucks at the genres that are an especially great fit for her voice 😆😅🤷🏻♀️ Also, thanks for recommending this trio of songs! She's a great story teller and not a boring person on stage and talkshows. Morissette is a natural RnB Ballad artist but able to conquer other genres which other popular artists can not do. She also performed "Moon river / Usahay" in Jazz and available in her own channel.

Trivia, english is her 3rd language, Tagalog is her 2nd, Bisaya is her 1st, or maybe english is 2nd. I think this was before Dave proposed. I think there were 2 other songs in this set, Defying Gravity and She used to be mine. She got stick with this performance because she smiled too much and got out of character. Obvious from theatre purists! She had a stint at theatre, which she talked about before the other 2 songs. Enough?

Think about this, when most of us (me) were climbing up the walls because of the pandemic, Mori kept us sane by doing these home concerts. Our Mori is loved for her personality, her voice, but most importantly for her love of giving joy to all willing to watch and listen 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
