🚨NOTE 🚨 Robinhood is using variable pricing with their RH Gold subscription cost. For instance, I was given a $5/month price in the app ($50 annually) while my editor was shown a $6.99/month price ($70 annually). Even if we input the higher version of this "Annual Fee" into the video calculations still nets out at $948.92 in terms of Year 1 Cash Value. Still ahead of the Active Cash and the Freedom Unlimited.
Waiting for travel portal. Probably Expedia because of the X1. After booking my trip to Florida, I know I will more than get back my $50. Then I'm good.
Surprised you did not mention the 1% bonus on all deposits for having RH Gold. That means that you get a 1% bonus just for moving your rewards to your invest account and all other cash you put in that account that will then be earning 5% APY currently. The RH Gold card is a no brainer for most people if you take advantage of the perks.
These are great points. Of course, the 5% APY may go down over the next couple of years (always fluctuates) so we can't guarantee that level of return forever, but in the current RH setup I totally agree with you.
Thanks for the comment Jamie. This is actually a really interesting situation and after researching we found that RH is using variable pricing with their Gold subscription cost. For instance, I was given a $5/month price in the app ($50 annually) while my editor was shown a $6.99/month price ($70 annually).
It doesn't seem like there's a definitive launch date quite yet but many are saying that Gold Members will get access towards the end of the year. Thanks for watching!
Great callout! OpenSky is a secured credit card though and it sounds like the cash back rewards may be dependent on where you're actually shopping but I could be wrong. If you love it and it's delivering cash back that high where you typically spend, then stick with it!
@@TheRDGuarantee I don’t have it. Just seen it. Month ago. And it graduates. Open sky plus anyway. But I don’t really trust the company at the moment lol

Great content and well executed
Thanks!
Going to sign up partner for robinhood gold for the credit card and to utilize the 3% match for roth IRA. Think it a good way to offset the fee

Do we have any word about foreign transaction fees?
No foreign transaction fees, which is a low key great feature!
After their corrupt roll in the Game Stop saga - hard pass on anything Robinhood.
Can't blame people who feel this way! Sometimes all it takes is one bad experience.
