Midway totally lifted this gameplay for T2! It looks nearly identical with some tweaks (mainly requiring lots and lots of rockets) for progression.
Which version is this? I never remembered the boss with the hostage on the second level either in the arcade or on any emulated version.

There are just so many enemies in later levels, it's hard to shoot them all unless you've reserved grenades.
This may not be a winning run (Someone's looped the game), but I'm just happy that I managed to squeeze out an attempt this week
Need to get to level 2 or beyond to get a clear win I think

I agree that he should have shown it. He could have slowed the footage down to limit the flashing, or made a massive “epilepsy warning” slide before showing footage.

Amazing to see what good arcade games, crap NES games from my childhood were actually based on. I thought this sucked on NES, ^_^. Looks fantastic here, =).
