- So, I have noticed there have recently been a lot of new songs on the radio that owe a debt to country music and it got me thinking. Maybe I could have a go at channeling a bit of Nick Cave, a bit of country and a bit of the usual synth-pop? This was what I came up with. It took several hours over 2 days which is a little longer than my usual efforts (and yes, it still sounds like it was recorded in a hurry) but I quite like this one. It’s kept me busy on a day when I had no other plans. Not sure what it reminds me of?
Would be better with a bluesy female voice singing the chorus but life is all about compromises.
I would like to assure regular listeners that this track does not feature any bagpipes. I did look for a sample, but wisely Apple seem to have limited their menus to about 50 traditional Chinese instruments but no bagpipes. Wise decision Apple!

@@thelostone6981 thank you so much, look I tried with the whole bagpipes thing, it’s not my fault that Apple don’t have that as a preset. Upon reflection that feels kind of racist against Scottish people 🤷♂️
@@lostinmusik😂😂 I’m @40% Highlander Scottish so should I only take 40% offense and get rid of 40% of my iPad and iPhone? 😉 But seriously, I’m still just blown away you accomplished this on an iPad. Anytime I try to learn a music app, I get lost.

Great! Really a pleasant awakening this morning.... put on my faithful headphones and listen to this wonderful new work of yours. The music in general puts one in a good mood and I really like the strings and, most importantly, the trumpet at the end. Regarding the possibility of a female voice in the chorus, I don't know.... In my opinion it is perfect as it is and absolutely in full Lost In Musik style. Bagpipes? It's too early for those, let's leave them for Christmas.👏👏👏
