What an absolutely gorgeous video! You 2 are such an adorable couple. Love seeing you both and your adventures. I always feel happy after watching a video. Much love from 🇺🇸. ❤
What a wonderful, calm, relaxing and energycharging episode. Loved to stroll around by the river, forest, having a snack, and specially lay down on the blanket and chat. I would love to see the area, would love if you go back and as you said, support the community there. I love such off the beaten path places, and maybe some viewers will visit the area too when you show it to us. Ohh I really realy thank you for this break from the exhausting daily life, have a wonderful weekend ^^//
Shinichi., I also want to say arigoto to you and Satoshi. I am subscribed to all of your channels. I love how you make your audience feel like they are there with you in Japan. I know many of us are struggling right now with happenings in the world, COVID, and perhaps even depression. Your videos provide a little bit of light and comfort during these troubling times. I know these channels mean so much to me.
As a Canadian, camping is a lifestyle here. We have different types too, car camping is where you drive to a campground and pitch your tent or park your camper in a stall, there's also wilderness backpacking where you travel on foot in the wilderness and carry everything you need on your back. I usually go for 5 days and walk 70-120km in bear, wolf, and mountain lion country!
Loved this video, what a beautiful place to decompress! The color of the water reminds me of Colorado rivers. I smiled the entire video...even made me giggle...2 hours to make tomatoes and broccoli! LOL I knew Satoshi-san had more in the bag. 😄😄😄 Would love to see more videos here. 👍🏼
Thank you, Shinichi, for another fabulous video. I love chilling with you and Satoshi. So relaxing. Thank you for bringing Japan to us while we are unable to travel abroad. Your videos make my “homesickness” for my favourite destination a little easier to bear. Domo arigatou🙏🏻. Stay safe ☺️
Hi Shinichi,😊 all your videos, right from 2014, the early ones, have helped me to navigate Tokyo and Japan on the whole. 🌿❇ Your older Ome town videos are also very interesting! I have watched you since the beginning, and all your videos, food recipes, food reviews, travel vids are all 100% useful. I used your Hakone, Kanagawa prefecture videos on my 2019 Nov trip. ✌🥰 THANK YOU for you and Satoshi's hard work and effort. Always your fan, since day one in 2014:) Florence Leow Toa Payoh East Singapore
Thank you senichi for showing us all of the nature that Japan has got I so thank you for that . And I would so go camping there if I could I love to camp
Very beautiful place 😍 I love nature and I'm so glad that we have a lot of nature here. I'm so thankful to have a backyard to because of the pandemic I love to have a place to go without any other people ❤
Gorgeous! We just moved to Tomodamachi (south side of the river), and I am in love with the Ome area. I just need to get a moment to start hiking some areas. I love all of your Ome videos! ❤️
Beautiful video, I enjoyed it so much! I think you should definitely go back and film there again. I love the sounds of the cicadas and frogs. So relaxing for me. Restrooms!! Lol Thank you for sharing! Be safe ☺
You're right about the Yoshino ume grove. The trees got "the pox" and a total of 3,866 trees had to be cut down between 2009 and 2016. Ume blossoms have the most indescribably wonderful scent. The closest thing to them is Hawaiian "pikake" jasmine. I have 5 ume bonsai that I bring into the house when they start to bloom and the house smells wonderful. This year was unusually chilly and the blossoms stayed open for 3 weeks. Pure joy! I also have two potted pikake plants that I got on Rakuten, and. this summer I had flowers for about 3 weeks too. There's a cool retro Showa Era store on Kyuômekaido worth a look.
I went to Ome years ago after seeing your earlier video about it. Unfortunately I was very sick that day and couldn’t stay long. Never got to see that river and bridge. Hopefully I can return to see what I missed one day.
I'm definitely not a camping expert at all now but I was a Boy Scout when I was a kid so went camping all of the time with both scouts and my family. My favorite time to camp with the scouts was actually the winter campout we had every January. It was so much different than camping the rest of the year that it made it seem extra special even though it could be pretty cold and snowy in January in Illinois. I also worked during the summer at our summer camp so I was camping for 6 weeks or so every summer.
I love camping. We went a few times this summer once our state opened back up some. It's easy to go lots of places around where I live because Montana has lots great camping spots.
I love how personable these videos are. You and Satoshi are a lovely couple. I hope it's not too forward if I ask you to let Satoshi know what I said. You guys truly are beautiful together.
this is such a nice video. day camping sounds very cool too. you might go talk to those people in the tent.....btw, i haven't checked in in a while; you guys look great! the quarantine seems to have agreed with you.
I really liked the cooking portion of that video! Idk but it's so satisfying haha! I'm currently binging your previous videos! Would love if you did some more sit down talking videos again 😊
Lovely trip to share with us ❤️ I have done a lot of long distance sailing and camping in my days and the fold up blanket you have is one of my best investment ! I have had mine for over 10 years and it is still in good shape considering what it has been through ! Drooling for the nice meal Satoshi made for you guys, glad to see both of you out and enjoying yourselves ⛺️⛱ ❤️
Great walking video looks a lovely place to visit, there's places in the UK that look similar but would definitely come here. My list is getting longer every time I watch youtube videos. Take care guys all the best to you both☺👍
Done heaps of camping and glamping over the years. Looooots of stories. Last time I went bush for a week. Helicopter in and out. Ate from the land and sea for the week. I hate being cold. That's my one hate for camping.
This looks so pretty! Thank you for sharing this with us all. My husband loves to go fishing and I can fish too but I am scared of taking the hook out of the fish since they still squirm around. Camping: Scared of insects def! Also horror thriller sort of scenes haha. Funny though because I love horror movies.
I absolutely want to visit this place in Tokyo!! So beautiful! Question: Would you do a video showcasing what Japan is like in the winter? I'm interested. :)
@Shinichi's World I might be able to make it. There's a chance I can get off work early. However you may be in competition with my singer friend in Hong Kong who could be doing "Showroom" at the same time. We shall see😊
I get head rush whenever I bend over. That is a beautiful area. I hope the lady isn't doing anything improper and damaging to the river . I don't see many youtubers visiting museums in Japan. Is it because of filming restrictions or do you all think they are boring?
I've been up since 5am studying, studying, studying. I think it might take a toll on my brain at some point but... so far so good. I watched the other video of you going to eat the tan-tan Ramen at Aka-Tatsu and later on you were still up at 2am editing your videos. It gave me some encouragement to study as much as I can but I'll have to figure out a way to add some personal balance to my current school/work schedule.
Fishing is a lot of fun! You can wear a glove to remove the fish from the hooks so you don't have to feel the texture or sliminess of the fish. Also, you can fish using plastic baits (look up topwater fishing) rather than with a worm and hook - it's my preferred method of fishing! :D thank you for the great tour!

I love the color of the water!
Love the river and the nature.🤗
Satoshi soaking up the trees is making me want to get out and have a picnic myself. Maybe this weekend! Lovely spot, thank you for sharing Shinichi.

Yes, more Ome and Tokyo prefecture videos that are not Tokyo city. ❤️

@27:40 Ojiisan: "What was this guy filming inside the public toilet?"

Definitely do more vlogs like this one! This one was fun 😻 thanks
Camp at the hotel. Did enough camping as a teenager to last a lifetime, Includes living in a tent for two months in the summer for several years.
I went to Ome years ago after seeing your earlier video about it. Unfortunately I was very sick that day and couldn’t stay long. Never got to see that river and bridge. Hopefully I can return to see what I missed one day.
Very nice place for a picnic.
I get Shinichi so much. I too hates worms and crawly things, that's why I won't do gardening.

Very nice and tranquil. Love.
Thank you for this. Please go back. I am still stuck at home. Nature and water scenes help
I love how personable these videos are. You and Satoshi are a lovely couple. I hope it's not too forward if I ask you to let Satoshi know what I said. You guys truly are beautiful together.
Wish I knew about this place when we were in Tokyo in March of last year. This place looks breathtaking 🥰
this is such a nice video. day camping sounds very cool too. you might go talk to those people in the tent.....btw, i haven't checked in in a while; you guys look great! the quarantine seems to have agreed with you.

I love your videos so much, Japan is a beautiful place. If i could travel and/or live there, i would be very happy. 😍💜
Nice ideas for our next trip to Japan.... ( when we are allowed to enter Japan)....
the fish trap is called a weir in English cheers that seemed like a nice outing
Great walking video looks a lovely place to visit, there's places in the UK that look similar but would definitely come here. My list is getting longer every time I watch youtube videos. Take care guys all the best to you both☺👍
shopping trip or restaurant review here would be good.
Beautiful river picnic! Where did you get that super cool picnic mat? Also thanks for the heads up on the restroom situation (always an issue for me).
Please do another video of Ome city
Omg sign me up for camp tabieats!
I don’t know anything about camping. I prefer “glamping”, where there is indoor plumbing, AC/Heating and TV 😁😁😁
Done heaps of camping and glamping over the years. Looooots of stories. Last time I went bush for a week. Helicopter in and out. Ate from the land and sea for the week. I hate being cold. That's my one hate for camping.
I'm so jealous of the day you are having together 💕🎃

Question: Would you do a video showcasing what Japan is like in the winter? I'm interested. :)
I make sure to watch all the commercials, especially from companies I don’t like so they have to pay Shinichi more 😂
Thank you :)
@Shinichi's World I might be able to make it. There's a chance I can get off work early. However you may be in competition with my singer friend in Hong Kong who could be doing "Showroom" at the same time. We shall see😊
Great livestream video, sir! Hope you have a wonderful day and stay safe as well.
That old man at the toilettes... LOL
This is cool.
Satoshi’s famous sandwiches 🥪👍😎
I get head rush whenever I bend over. That is a beautiful area. I hope the lady isn't doing anything improper and damaging to the river . I don't see many youtubers visiting museums in Japan. Is it because of filming restrictions or do you all think they are boring?
I think it’s because filming is not allowed but also, it doesn’t have a broad appeal to viewers. I’d love to film in a museum if I could
@@Shinichisworld Maybe food museums? There was a wagashi one in Kyoto.
Getting head rushes frequently? Could be you have low blood pressure. (Side note) - You guys should totally do an overnight camping video.
Question for Shinichi. - I know you used to live in Hawaii. How long did it take you to get used to the noisy cicadas?
The cicadas never really bothered me for some reason.

How to go there from Shinjuku?
was just biting into a large, delicious chocolate brownie after a long day just as you decided to show us the toilets🤢🤦🏻♀️😆
you need to go glamping, glamorous camping lol

Your voices are almost identical. In English at least.
