I feel like the new K.K song were glossed over when a lot of people reacted to the direct. These are arguably just as nice an addition as Brewster or the frog chair.
i freaked out when I saw we would get new songs since it's honestly one of my favorite things about animal crossing. i thought we wouldn't get any new songs this game
A while back I made a head canon about how if K.K. had an actual music career and I divided his songs into albums, and in that head canon, I had an album of the new horizons songs, but it was only like 4 songs so I thought of those as the singles, and now that these are released its perfect.
One of my favorite things about getting new KK songs is just seeing what the album covers will look like. I love the varied art styles and aesthetics each one has

K.K. Robot Synth is so vocaloid-y. First, i heard that the cover translates to K.K. Loid, like Vocaloid. Second, the music style is vocaloid-y. And third, if you think about it, vocaloids are literally robot synths (K.K. *Robot Synth*)
I love K.K. Dub. It sounds like hourly music from the first 3 games. And it perfectly captures the feeling of walking through a thick forest with tall trees and moss covering everything in sight. A small creek full of periwinkles, with a giant log hovering just over it, with a bush of edible berries nearby. A lovely place to take a break on your walk.
I had a chillwave phase once, and when I saw that there was a chillwave song in the new song lineup here in the comment section, it was a pleasant surprise, haha. Also, K.K. Robot Synth is my favorite. It reminds me of older songs from sasakureUK or Wowaka.
kk robot synth quickly became my favorite kk song, with chillwave getting into my top 3. i'm a huge vocaloid fan and they really captured the essence of early vocaloid music in it.
