Perhaps this is a silly comment, but the best part about this rendition of the old classic is the tempo. Just right, neither too fast nor too slow. Too many performers try to goose up the tempo just to prove how nimble their fingers are. Perfect, kids!
Iam a roma gypsy .. im happy that there are others whose likes this kind of music 🎶 and they play it very well congratulations you guys are real musicans al ready at early age👏🏼 🙌❤ ..
It starts with the tapping of a foot, then your feet, next thing you know you are moving back and forth. Then, within a couple of second, the whole body is dancing. Amazing.
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Julien Keegan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wow. I am in my 60s and only started learning to play guitar about 5 years ago. A friend and I were learning this song today. I just did a search for covers of the song to learn a little more about it. I came across this. You kids are blessed with such talent and it is all your own to foster with your dedication, love and practice to have all of your lives. Share share share. Thank you. Such an inspiration.
Just genius. I also love the contrast between the frenetic guitar and decorous bass player, who seems amused by it. Truly wonderful performances by all three. Thank you.
Get some Justin! Yeah, absolutely smoking. To any players out there watch this man's form. Left hand thumb placement is spot on and check out the strict alternate picking of his right hand. That's how you do it! That's how I wish I could do it and I've been playing for over 40 years. Great performance, great example, great lesson, great cover, great trio. Here you can see why UA-cam is a wonderful thing. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you all very much for listening! 3 years ago, I would have never guessed that this video would reach even more than 10k. So thank you for supporting me and helping me reach 2.5 million views! Please like, subscribe, and share this video to help me reach 3 million by the end of the year! -Justin :-)
Hello I am a Chet Atkins picker and I love playing along with this video. A great arrangment. Thanks for sharing this.I live in Georgia USA and U 3 are very good musicians.I am 78 years old and know good music when I hear it.Take care and god bless.
That would great if they could a video with you playing too! Young, old, males, females, different races and backgrounds coming together! We all love good music!
After looking at page it confirms my thought. This is my undergraduate alma mater. Stephen Robinson was classical guitar professor. The late great Harold Blanchard was my private jazz teacher. Kudos to S.U, the music has come so far since the early 90's!
bbcisrubbish Yes - so much better than the cure for smallpox, the discovery of DNA and the printing press. Your name just about says it all doesn't it? :-)
Since I've discovered this cover version, I've watched it religiously daily for the past week. And I tell you, I like it even more as days past. Keep up the great work! Awesome cover!
Very nice version. I watch this video almost everyday. The best audio recorded for instrumental. The base lady was awsome, simple but beautiful and the strumming was wonderful and the lead guitar was very smooth and clean. The tempo was just right. You did a good job guys…keep making videos like this. You will go a long way…keep on playing…post more music like this….thank you….the best…
Nicely done, kudos to you. Four years later - watching this again and speaking as a long time musician myself - this is BETTER than nicely done. It is OUTSTANDING, 6 stars out of 5.
Seriously good!!! So proud of our Stetson musicians. Thank you for this treat Justin, Lyndall, and Ayaka! And many thanks to another Stetson musician, Abby Goodin, for your excellent work as well in producing this video.
Amazing!! The sound of the Selmer Gypsy guitar is unique, sharp, crispy and tender, all of it at the same time.....this young guitarist has a great technique, amazing tune.
Yes. Thanks to You Tube.... you’ve done justice to people like us who are very lucky to play again & again such beautiful music.... more power to you kids!
1:10 - I was already loving it, but those stops literally put a big smile on my face! As for the arrangement and performance overall, it's like Django Reinhardt and Tommy Emmanuel slipped through a time vortex and got together for drinks one night. Just a really enjoyable listen. Thanks for this!
I could put this on loop and listen to it all day. This guys finger runs are bizarre.! Fantastic. Thanks for putting a smile on my face, and a tap in my toe. Well done! 👏
Go man go. We love you and the application of your guitar skills. Just showed my husband who has demention. He is a top vocalist and we are trying to encourage him to not loose it.
Awesome guitar playing! I applaud you for acknowledging Damjan Pejcinoski who is a great guitar player but you're an incredible guitarist in your own right!
