Trolling Solo- Puget Sound

Yeah so I launched at Shilshole and went around to West Point to throw a crab pot and go fishing via the trolling method. The fish were there; the outgoing tide had bait swimming along the steep breaking bank in relatively shallow water. So I used a spoon, flasher and downrigger. I should probably wear a life jacket since the boat swims faster than I do.

How does the braid treat the clips ?

Doesn’t affect it really, but when the clips are especially old, braid doesn’t hold well. Use 50 or 65 pound

It’s a Scotty Strongarm 24” and I mostly have Okuma trolling stuff. Okuma classic and Okuma Magda

Nice work on the water! Love your content man! I have the same downriggers, and I don't use the built-in rod holders (they're a pain). Instead I use my gunwhale-mount rod holders and it works so much better.
