Just a dude who likes to cast all day and edit all night.
This channel is dedicated to bass fishing, with a personal spin to make it sort of "vloggy". I like topwater explosions alot, but don't we all.
If you haven't subscribed yet, you're missing out. I also want people to hit me up about collaborating. there's no reason you and I shouldn't film together.
Also, my immediate goal is to have more viewing time from other people on youtube than the hours I spent personally gathering this footage. We're nowhere near there!!

The Swamps of Coeur D Alene

Pike and bass fishing in a sportsmans paradise. There's a bunch of chain lakes that connect to a river down by Lake Coeur D' Alene. This is where we threw topwater, chatterbaits, and swimbaits and had a grand old time. Freshwater Lingcod
Best swim bait for Ling Cod?
Переглядів 3917 місяців тому
Specifically, jigging different paddle tail swimbaits, comparing effectiveness as ling cod baits based on size. This fishing experiment wasn't even close to scientific, but we definitely tried a variety of different things. It seemed like the fish were all over underwater humps and ledges, eating most everything we tried. This was filmed near deception pass, San Juan Islands. Also captured were...
Kings and Blake Island. Downtown Seattle camping

This was when it was open to catch and kill hatchery King aka chinook salmon. Don't get your panties in a bunch. Downtown Seattle island is loaded with raccoons and Karen’s but also check it out once. It is not the San Juan’s let’s just say that. Fishing
40 Inch Lingcod on a Sand Dab

Fishing the Puget sound for lings and bottom fish, we happened to stumble on a good one using live bait. Woolridge.
There’s bass here??
Переглядів 4568 місяців тому
I launched a boat inside Seattle's most famous walking path to go fishing and see what lives there. There was certainly alot of activity along this famous shoreline. I wanted to catch largemouth and smallmouth bass, but they got carp and catfish, tiger musky and trout, bluegill and perch- among other things. I just casted a chatterbait toward the shoreline all day, yoyo and twitch, steady reeli...
Fish cops checked our Ling, our boat was a complete mess!
Переглядів 3,6 тис.Рік тому
They were most interested in the Cabezon because any fish under 18 inches is considered an illegal catch. We were fishing in the sekiu area for black rockfish and lingcod and the boat was in complete disarray. We caught fish by jigging and with topwater. We like curly tail grubs and paddle tail swimbaits on jig heads anywhere from 1/4 to 4 ounces, fished around rocks and kelp. Lots of action!
We Killed 24 Salmon in one Trip...

Yes it's true. Pink Salmon fishing is pretty fun when you use dick nites and twitching jigs and buzz bombs in the Snohomish river. We also used fishing rods spooled up with fishing line.
River pinks
Переглядів 318Рік тому
Twitching Jigs is an effective technique for most trout and salmon species. The pinks are no exception. We were able to find a large pod of Humpy, some in chrome bright shape- and catch dozens of them by fishing light with spinning gear. To show you how fast the action was, I only clipped a few sequences after the intro video. Although we did use 1/4 ounce, 1/8th was even better for that partic...

Love the videos also love that you're rocking Rainier beer haven't seen that in ever.
😆 not even once?
Classic Seiku.. doesn't give you enough time to write your fish down.
What fish finder do you use?
It’s a Garmin EchoMap. Boat is very functional… also I’m selling it because it sprung a leak- not sure if you want it cheap?
@@FishinOriginal got a nice Lund 16’. It’s not leaking yet.
It’s a Garmin EchoMap
That might be my next boat… what HP on your motor?
This looks so doable. I live in Gig Harbor.
Finally something between a 50K cruiser and kayak. My kind of boat. Thanks.
😆 yeah I like that you say this
Yeah totally… I feel comfortable on this size- it’s 14 foot with longshaft 25 HP Yamaha! She’s for sale too, sprung a leak so I’m selling it cheap
Nice mask
Hahaha
Green river ?
Holding a spinning rod like that is criminal. Use a bait caster if your gonna hold your rod like that💀
You watched till the end 👌🙃
At one point she was reeling one in and the top half of the rod was twisted like 70 degrees 😂. Those guys were having more fun on that one trip than I’ve had in a decade
I love this lake. I live just around the corner from it 🥰
Where is this?
The only time I catch carp in Potholes or Moses Lake is by accident. Throwing a Rapala for bass or trout and snagging them in the tail usually. Get ready for a 1/2 hour fight if you don't want to lose the lure.
was this phantom lake
Naw but I go there too
Crazy how busy it is. Was this on the north side of the lake? South side was so dead (maybe 1-2 guys fishing). Just went up there this week. Super slow from what I saw on the south side of the lake
😂 looks so fun
Not the first time I've heard from you that small penetrates better.
🤣 I just saw this comment! Good one
@@FishinOriginal 😂😂😂
What kind of reel are you using? Where did you launch from? Thanks
Okuma Solterra. Launch was Wa Park
Great job! Gotta love those ugly stiks!
First bass Anjel caught is the exact size of the "take me to the river" singing bass
😆 interesting observation
Nice work dude. From pouring your own lure to finding your own spots it doesn’t get better than that!
Yessir! You know it 😁 thank you for watching!!!
I was thinking about trying my hand at lings now that I have a boat I can take out to the sound, but I really love bass fishing in may. Maybe next year.
Seems like that boat is slightly easier to manage than your 9' dingy out on in the sound
😆 yeah I’d say so
I just ate this fish and he was tasty
Knew someone who had a catch over the limit .. they cut it in three pieces and put the two ends together 😂 and put the third piece back in when giving it to the taxidermist
Keep moving that tape until you find an inch! Lol just playing. Nice catch!
Still amazes me how the meat is blue
Nice fish but, the vise grip could mess the jaw up!!
I lived in Oak Harbor for 48 years and fished all those waters for many years. It was good to see the old grounds since I live in Idaho now. East of Colville Island off of Lopez. Outgoing tide pull right up to the freestanding bouy and drift down the drop, many fish fry's made from that point. If they still have a season that is. Good job and keep it salty! Tight lines and not snags. V
Sales head North of bowmans Bay right up next to the wall deep and a PB 43 lb Ling never knew they could gethat big I was afraid of that one.
It is Sares head not Sales
That was an educational trip
Aren’t you in this movie??
Great to have fishinwfigs back in the pnw ❤❤❤
That first 6.5” Big Hammer swim bait will catch 20 lb. Lingcod, no worries!
1 guess 6 pounds. Do I win?
You get a fish taco
In general it seems like the larger the lure the bigger the ling, but then someone on the boat will pull in huge chonk with like a 1oz jig.. so 🤷♂
Yeah that’s why they’re so fun!!
Bigger swimbaits will catch you bigger lings, but you will have less hits. Looks like the area you guys fished was hit hard since the opener up in WA, hence the undersized lings and time of year. Big ones come in to spawn and lay eggs later in the Summer. Fun video though! I'm in NorCal and the regs here are changing all the time for rockfish and lings based on flawed science over 20 years! Thanks for doing it
The sandeel where did you find it for $5 for 3
Well it seems like they don’t really make them anymore… it’s about 10 for three on eBay now
@@FishinOriginal oh dang that sucks
Wouldn't be a fishin original video without an Anjel scream
Haha yep pretty much
Good patient netting. Downtown Seattle Island.
You get a new boat? What is it?
Naw man this is my bros… it’s a hewes craft 16 foot. I like it a lot
That's a massive largemouth! Careful with the motors on that lake. No electrics allowed.
Yay! More videos. :-)
Another downtown Seattle camper?! We have enough already, please don’t poop on the sidewalk
Hell yeah! Cool seeing old footage.
Я ловил окуня и довольно крупных. Меня всегда поражает глупость этой рыбы, поэтому я предпочитаю ловить карпа самой умной и хитрой рыбой.
40 inch sculpin ?
Haha I thought his voice sounded strange for a second 😂
could you share where did you launch your boat bro?
In sekiu. Look that place up there’s only two launches within a mile
Holy shit what a tank lol
Throwing dinner away! Wtf is wrong with you? P.S. it was 39 1/2
Nice bro!!
Yeah pretty cool fish!
That had me laughing the whole time great videos im subscribing now. Not only funny antics but the underwater footage of the shark and salmon was awesome ive never seen anyone trill through a school of sharks
The man that caught it is always going to say it’s bigger than what it really was even if it was 39 3/4 its 40😹💯🫶🏽
Dude got so pissed he really said "😒it’s 40" not only is he drinking a white claw instead of a beer but he’s also wearing a shirt that looks like it should be on his wife 🤣🤣🤣 dudes got more vagina in his blood than man drink a fucking beer and wear a real fishing shirt that wasn’t made by your wife on the cricket machine you got her for her birthday 🤣
he got pissed cause he doesn’t want a 39 😂
I feel like a time traveler watching this video
What does that even mean?
@@FishinOriginal "yesterday" when we caught that fish "today"...
