@@roe2738 locally it’s $400 post to post, $700 post to door , shipping overseas it arrives in a month or less, it all depends on the weight
@@sarahhewitt9297 when i found out that this was possible i was overjoyed, ive been using that service for over 6 months now. items delayed sometimes but always delivered.
I've used the post office and it takes about 14 days to get to my clients.
But shipping from Jamaica is very difficult to do because shippers don’t cater to that. They only cater to shipping in to Jamaica and not out of Jamaica.
What about selling digital products on Amazon KDP?
awesome video, i practice some ecommerce also via shopify dropshipping. Its hard very challenging but can be profitable. Researching the amazon space too.

Good episode Khalilah! I think this works for persons who are manufacturing in Jamaica but if you want to source your products in China and India and sell through Amazon FBA I don't see this ( partnering with a seller) working. At this point I honestly feel like migrating to make it easier for me to do E-Commerce.

Love this information Kalilah. I am a Jamaican and got an Amazon sellers account. It wasn't easy but it works if you get an LLC. You will find out that some family and friends dont want to do it for you because of the issues when it comes to taxes. Its amazing how it works.

Tameka, please note that family or relatives may avoid doing such deals because it has tax implications for them. That's a good reason to refuse. I have been an Amazon seller for several years.

This is helpful but there are a ton of Caribbean islands and countries that are not allowed to sell on Amazon due to their policies. The easier Avenue is to register a business in the USA and then start your journey from there..
Not everyone have family members and trusted individuals within the USA and it’s very risky running your business through someone else.

hey my biggest concern is shipping , how do you ship an order from jamaica at a low lost without using those expensive shipping company like FedEx etc..
Most of my customers are from the US & Canada. I ship their orders using the post office. It takes an average of 2 weeks to get to them and I've never had any issues. They have faster services too.

You can try NCB's fygaro payment platform.. I use it for both local and international payments and I get my money in my ncb account in 24hrs.. its amazing. However, I pay 6k+ per month. But its worth it. Good luck!

Bad bad idea, if one wants to have a successful business online it's best to start from scratch. Open an LLC and open an account and once you have an us address you are good. This unfortunately is not the best advise.
