I am featuring items going into the shop effective Friday 05/17/24.
#frenchyandtubby is a woman owned small business selling vintage, antiques and unique finds. I source all my items from charity shops, estate sales, my own collections, and yes, some are street finds!
I have a true passion for vintage and antique objects, I find that the more owners, the more stories and spirit they hold. I enjoy picking, cleaning, staging and now reselling them.
Thank you for supporting my #smallbusiness

Sophia you are just so charming and fun to watch! I love how last week's post was of teeny tiny pieces and this week's is oversized items. You are such a hoot! I predict that these items will sell out quickly!

This kind of pea/salvia/sage green is such a trendy colour now, all clothing brands have it in their collections! The vase is going to sell in seconds surely!

Way back in 1994 there was an estate sale on my block and the woman of the house had been a collector and a seller. The house was packed. In fact, I think I bought my first piece of McCoy pottery there and I think it was the basket weave planter in green, just like the one you have. Anyway, there was a lot of Frankoma pottery there. At least a set of 8 place settings. No one was buying it at all at a dollar per piece and even when it went half price. Then came along Martha Stewart came along and bam! They were then collectible. You would have gone crazy seeing all of it. I was just beginning to collect and I had no idea what they were. And they were the same color as your canister. Loved the video! I also love how your face lights up when you talk about the items for sale.

Yes green vase would make a nice planter! It looks to be sage green?

I used to have a cheese tray similar to the one with yellow flowers. Mine was either a hexagon or octagon, and had a knife that was attached by a chain. Maybe that's what the little thing on the bottom of yours was for.

I really like the tea pot paper weight, just wish the flower was purple or pink. I don’t like blue.
