In a real situation, you don't know whether the situation allows you to live, kill, seki, ko, etc. I can't wait to see a tsumego tool that takes this into account...
yeah, a friend of mine brought this up once. he had the idea that you could just put some problems in the mix where you're unconditionally dead and some where you're unconditionally alive; he said you could put buttons at the bottom to select instead of playing a move
