I had two cassette copies and one 8-track of I'M IN YOU. I'm sorry I never got an LP copy or a CD when the album was reissued on that format.
He will be in Cincinnati June 22, 2023, going to see him for the 2nd time. It will be a great time.

I heard him interviewed one time and he said th record company was hot for him to do another album after, Frampton Comes Alive, and he thought this album was just kinda thrown together but, i always liked it
I agree. Peter always hated this album but I think it is great. I think he's just being too hard on himself. Lesser musicians would kill to be able to put out an album like this one.

Hi like. Framptons version the ele tric piano , bass and ringing guitar chords and his voice backup vocals.
Always thought this recording session sounded really loose and "whatever happens, happens". Maybe it's just the pictures on the album liner conveying that thought. At 3:16, underneath the guitar solo, you can hear background talking and someone actually saying "good one"... I'd love to have been there for this album

Same here. It's Stevie's song, but this is the version I first heard when I was 13. I had the 45 of this and remember putting on the head phones and cranking this up.
There was a girl I used to cover at a small daily in northern Pa. who did the triple jump for the high school the paper covered. She wore blue running tights with white piping and she had a hitch in her approach that reminded me of this version of this song. In her best interests I will not name names but I think of her every time I recall this song.
