Thanks for this video! We found it extremely helpful after struggling with this greenhouse all day.
My husband and I APPRECIATE y’all so much for making this video ❤️
Hope it helped
Like how you walked it through and explained step-by-step making it easy to assemble. Thanks.
Thank you!
Mine arrived today. Gonna give it a go tomorrow. Enjoyed the video. Very helpful blessing.
Awesome! How exciting!! ❤️ I pray you have a bountiful harvest!
Yall got the best assembly video of the quictent. Thank yall.
Thank you for watching
@@nolablack17 UA-cam channel Gardening in Mississippi with Jim has a great video on this and other mod's he made to his Quicktent. There are many good videos on how to modify your hoophouse to add strength and stability but his is one of the best I've seen and I've watched dozens. All you have to do is do a youtube search. Hope this helps, good luck.
Thanks so much for all the tips! I'm working on mine now.
Got mine coming this week. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching
This was so helpful!!! We were confused by the directions so I sat down to look for a video and found you guys. Such a valuable hint to build the structure with bolts but not tightening the nuts until the end. Phew! Thank you!!!
I'm so happy our video helped you! We had a few struggles too with the directions.
Thanks for the vid. I'm putting one of these together right now.
I bought the metal framed Quictent 10'X20' and am SO happy I found this install!! My instructions did not have as good a diagram as yours and I was a bit confused so thank you so much for this!!
Your welcome and thank you for watching
I wish I would’ve watched your video first, the bottom corners had me all flustered
Hello, thanks for the tutorial on how to assemble the green house, thanks to you we were able to assemble it and we saved our crowns of Christ, plumerias, hibiscus and more. I don't know English, but it helped us a lot. Have a happy new year, greetings from Texas
I am so glad!! ❤️ It's intimidating out of the box. I hope to get ours set back up soon and have it ready for spring.
Great job and thank you for the video. Kool Couple.... Mine comes 8/9
6 1/2 feet isn't tall enough, Tomato's, Cucumber's and Okra will all grow taller than that, also it needs additional structural stability added or you will be gathering up a twisted mangled pile of metal tubing and plastic from the other side of the field the first time you have strong winds. The provided anchoring system isn't adequate. Here are a few things you need to do. First, build a wooden frame out of treated 2x12 lumber raising it 12 inches and anchor the frame, 24 inches would be even better making it 8 1/2 feet tall. Next frame in the doors with 2x4's, then add 3/4 or 1 inch PVC ribs in between each of the metal ribs. Very helpful! Trying to get it set up to start our small business! Thank you
Best of luck with your business! ❤️ I hope you were able to set it up.
Got one on order and its on the way. Looking forward to building it. I may end up adding a wooden base to it.
I'm excited you're getting one!! I think you'll love it.
I highly recommend doing just that. 6 1/2 feet isn't tall enough, Tomato's, Cucumber's and Okra will all grow taller than that, also it needs additional structural stability added or you will be gathering up a twisted mangled pile of metal tubing and plastic from the other side of the field or yard the first time you have strong winds. Good job you guys made it so easy. The only thing you guys need to use 2x4 to get it more stable.
This video is both entertaining and educational. I definitely will be looking into this greenhouse!
Thank you for watching
I bought this one 2 years ago and it was awesome for the first year. Then after a season, a storm blew the plastic in half down the middle seam. Then this year after getting a new covering, the end hoop metal frame bent in half in only 55 mile an hour winds. I’m now using the tarp as a compost cover and the metal frame pieces as tomato steaks lol. It’s still doing something.
Hopefully y’all’s is holding up better than mine did!
We haven't put it back up since the move but it did blow over a couple times and our poles got bent up pretty bad 😞
If you're going to use one of these hoophouses and expect it to last any time at all you need to make a few upgrades. 6 1/2 feet isn't tall enough, Tomato's, Cucumber's and Okra will all grow taller than that, also it needs additional structural stability added or you will be gathering up a twisted mangled pile of metal tubing and plastic from the other side of the field your yard or even the neighbors yard the first time you have strong winds as you well know. The provided anchoring system isn't adequate. Here are a few things you need to do. First, build a frame of some kind, like out of treated 2x12 lumber raising it 12 inches and anchor the frame to the ground, 24 inches would be even better making it 8 1/2 feet tall. Next frame in the doors with 2x4's, then add 3/4 or 1 inch PVC ribs in between each of the metal ribs. I just bought a Papajet brand 28x10 that's 7 1/2 feet tall marked down from $299 to $189 from Walmart online and the above mod's are what I'm gonna go with. Hope this helps, good luck should you decide to try again.
Just got one ready to build this video is excellent thank you guys I appreciate it
Thank you for watching
Thanks for this! We are trying to figure out what we're going to do for this upcoming gardening season. This might be a good option for us!
Thanks for watching were exited to to see how well it does
Dude's so chill, I had to subscribe 😆 glorious beard too brother!
Looks bigger than I thought it would be ....cant wait to see what you're going to be planting! Yayyy it's up and didn't blow away lol .....love it !!!
Lol there was a moment I thought it was lol
I installed one a bit smaller recently and placed the lower portion on the cover under my garden beds. It became super rigid without using the cheap tie downs. It took me about 4 hours all by myself. Very good video.
Thank you!
So the edges of the tarp and frame are basically under ground? Sounds like a good idea.
@@TheSmagzilla yes. The only issue is that you cannot roll it up during warmer weather but is mega rigid.
Awesome video thank you guys you corrected alot of the mistakes i made im in the middle of putting mine up now great video helped alot!
We are so glad! I hope you have lots of success growing with yours 💯
We have always wondered about this style of greenhouse. Thanks for sharing this will helps us in making our decision. God bless y'all 🙏❤
God bless thanks for watching

Thx for sharing this video, I’m planning to buy one in a few days,
Thank you for watching
I love my greenhouse and that looks nice. I hope you bought in ground tires downs. They have worked really well to keep my house it in place during really windy weather. Blessings!
Ya we used different ones than what came with it and they held up food in the wind we had .going to add metal one around frame to help out also
I’m so jealous! I wish I had the yard for that greenhouse! I’m not sure it would hold up to our wind. Can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you all grow!
I watched stivers homestead and there Cattle panel green house held up really well to high winds well the plastic tore but was easy fix
I just bought a 12' one. Chicken house for the winter over my garden area. They will move out in early summer.
Great idea! We took ours down when we moved and I'm anxious to get a spot cleared to put it back up
Good Video. We are putting ours up today.
Were pretty happy with it we will be out working in it today getting ready to start some seeds . And thank you for watching
@@preparedliving your welcome we just completed ours. 2 1/2 hrs. Yalls tips helped.
@@rdadsfarm that's awesome glad you got it up were having high winds today some went and added some 2x4 to it to help hold it down
OMG!!! Thank you for this video! Mine got delivered yesterday and I can't wait to get it put together. Great job on the video, and woot you are chicken people too! :)
I'm so glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Your thin rope looped over it to hold it down will rub through the material really quick. If you do use a wide flat strap. With oh about 2 foot rear stakes that have a crook so the ring on the end of the strap won't slide off. You'll need to have that done if you don't have a chop saw and a torch to heat the metal to bend it how ya want it. We have all that so it was a lot better tie down system. And it is not going anywhere with 3 straps across the top.
I was planning on tucking under the the bottom flaps hinder neath the base pole and using a cement block to hold from the inside
We bought one and put it together this spring. We’ve had some pretty high winds and it’s still standing. However, rain water is ponding on top as we didn’t get the tarp pulled tight enough. Does anyone else have these issues and if so have you found a solution?
How is the plastic holding up a few years?
We bought two of these. We are going to strengthen them like east meets west did. That’s a you tube channel.
I'll have to check them out thank you
Gluing eyelets or velcro should help with holding the cover down on windy days but, I am disappointed the manufacturer didn't include them in it's design. I just received mine and I live in hurricane alley on the east coast of NC.
Will definitely have to tie yours down I have a lot of work to do on our thanks to tornado season
I was concerned about wind with that but it looks nice otherwise
Wind is definitely a concern
Hi,Can you share some updates about how the green house is treating you after a year?
Yes I will. I don't have it set up since we moved but I will be getting it put up and will do an update on how it held up. :)
Do you have an 1 year update on how well it held up?
I've had a series of event happen since this video. Unfortunately I do not have an update but I can say I'd buy it again. It was blown away, we moved and the plastic held up great. The poles are aluminum but we were able to bend them back and still use it even after it blew away.
Is there anyway to get the manual from you? We have one and my dad burned the manual. 😞
I'm sorry we burned ours also I believe but I will look in my shop might get lucky and find it
You might try this link!

Good video, what size diameter are the steel tubes? I look forward to part 2
The main body tube is 1in the braces for the side and top are 7/8 had to go check I thought it was all 1 in tube but I was wrong .thank you for watching and the question.
@@preparedliving Much appreciate the reply, have one on the way, was thinking about building a 3' tall stand out of 4x4 posts and 2x4's to set it up on and maybe endwalls for more normal door.
@@the-papaw have the same thought in mind amd hope to do that soon .I was going to get treated 2x6 and put it along frame then use 1x1 to hold plastic tight . I'll try to get that dont this week if we ever thaw out lol
@@preparedliving Sounds like a plan, I'm shooting to get mine 3' taller, putting grommets at the bottom of the plastic to wrap it under the frame and back up to the mid-rail with bungies or something. Then using corrugated clear plastic roof panels or even metal around the bottom where I raised it. Maybe even hinge them, not sure. After watching the ice buildup and the sting thing, I am thinking it would be pretty easy to run a couple 1/2" or 3/4 metal pcs. of conduit in the middle of the top the 3 purlins with a few more nuts & bolts.
@@the-papaw that's a great idea about adding conduit to it and would be alot better than string . Having hinges could help alot with air flow around the bottom when you raise it
We just got done installing ours today, and it looks like you skipped a step, after you put the plastic on you NEED, to install the buckles that join the plastic to the poles, there is nothing explained in the instructions about them either.
We didn't get any buckles 😮
The ironic part is there’s nothing quick about this greenhouse at all 😅.
Was putting this together , but ended up with a couple of missing bolts .. so need to head to the hardware store 🤦🏻♂️
is it me or does this guy sound like Kenny Rogers? lol. good video, shame no velcro to hold plastic to rails inside. thx
Thank you for watching
Well, I'm getting ready buy one of these and wanted an update so I went to your channel to see if yall had any more videos and saw a bunch of videos with just your face and then I saw a video of you talking about separation. Ugh... so sorry. Hope yall get back together!
Thank you!
Them instructions tho
