What you should have done is measure the width of the bottom of the Y in centimeters or inches. Can you check your spray nozzle cap on the real bottle again? At 1:36, it looks like the tip of the atomizer that's supposed to cover the spring is stuck in your spray nozzle cap. I've never seen any bottle that has the spring exposed on the top of the atomizer.
Damn, now I'm confused. 50% of the fake and 50% of the real one has mixed characteristics in the bottle that I just bought. Now it's down to the juice quality. I hope this confusing bottle that I bought lasts. If not, well, damn. Another $125 flushed down the frickin drain.
@@JEGfragrance Everything's actually intact. The straw is sometimes harder to see, but in an angle, you can see it clearly. The cap's "YSL" logo aligns perfectly and the Y is slim on my bottle. The smell is there, but I'm trying to see if it lasts. If it does, then I'm lucky with my purchase. But if not, 🤷♂️ Either way, thanks for the reply and the info from your vid man.
@@pixelic409 thanks for this. Haha. This comment's been a while and I actually discovered that my bottle's legit. Been wearing it for the past month and it lasts nicely on my skin and clothes! Projects good too.
@@random_mk1675 im in the same boat as you. just bought one from amazon and mine doesnt have the spring when you take the cap off. i had a tester bottle from nordstrom that was 100% legit and this smells the exact same and lasts forever. even if it is a rep its whatever at this point
Man. That's a pretty good fake. But the main thing I took away from this video is the atomizer. Thank you, sir. I'm about to drop 60 on a 2oz. I will use this as a reference...
@@Jaball1201 At 2:39, you can see the tube at the bottom center of his bottle on the right. I think the tip of his atomizer that covers the spring is stuck in his spray nozzle cap.

@@rileyfernando4380 Where did you check? Checkfresh has them both, although you don't even need to look at a site. The bottle on the right has a code of 38W4016. All L'Oreal produced fragrances used a 7 digit batch code. The 3rd digit is a letter for the year. W=2022 (U=2021, T=2020, S=2019, etc). The 4th digit is the month. 4= April (1 to 9 is Jan to Sept. O=Oct. N=Nov. and D=Dec.) The bottle on the left has a V and I'm not sure if L'Oreal used a V. Most bottles seemed to go from U to W when the year changed from 2021 to 2022.

Thanks for this. I def got a fake. The lettering g was bold and the juice is water
Some eBay sellers from HK are selling this fragrance for around $50 but other know seller like Foreverlux are selling it for around $80 and up.
Are the 50$ ones real?

Look for the small details for example the fake on this one had eau de parfum spelt wrong on the bottom sticker and the ysl quality wasn't there

All the lettering on mine seems legit, might be a different type of batch cause the spring is inside the plastic tip

Just got it from Dubai and turned out to be fake even tho i paid for an original one …
hey dude, where'd u get the fake one from?
From ebay
Yooo can i send u a pic and can u tell me wether u think its real or fake?
Thank you bro
Where did you buy fake from?
I got a real one and you can say it from the smell and it lasts longer in skin like even after I shower its still there
What if my atomizer does not have a spring and does not have a tip to it?
If it has no spring you should be fine along as everything else aligns
my ysl y edp i can see the tube and there is no spring and it is a little clear on the bottom is that fine?

Don’t that mean there both fake cause I heard that ysl y edp only come in a black atomizer or am I wrong
With the newer batches the atomizer will be white however older batches do have a black atomizer

Yes the smell on the fake doesn't last as long and while it resembles the original smell it's doesn't smell the same at all
bro, you are mistaken, left one is the real one!
The right one was purchased from a reputable site.
No right one is real ,look to the tube u can't see it 😉.
Yes I agree with you
