This message has literally just answered what I've been praying about. My "best friend" and I have known each other for over 8 years and now that I'm starting to build my relationship with God, our friendship feels so toxic and draining. Of course, I'll always love her and continue to pray for her, but what I CAN'T do is allow my spiritual growth to be compromised for a friendship. When you said, "You can't stay in a relationship because of time served" I knew that was meant for me to hear. Whenever I talked to God about this I would say, "We've been friends for so long, how do I just cut her off?" God is definitely working through you! Thank you and God bless you!!!

Tashauna Cudjo I see what you mean. I'm not sure if she REALLY knows or not although I do vocalize my love for God, maybe I don't do it as much as I should. How do you approach someone who has little to no knowledge of God? I need tips lol. I've invited her to Bible study, but she can't go because of a time conflict. (It's every Monday at 6:00pm but she has class)
kweenkey share your notes send her this video ....ask her does she believe in God. Share your vision with her and ask her to hold accountable to your vision of Godly community. If it becomes overwhelming for her she will excuse herself from your life. You won’t have to ended. if and when she comes back around you will love her through the process because you know what it looks like 😉

As an international college student who's always moving around it's so hard to find/keep an inner circle, especially one where you can lead each other by faith instead of emotions and the typical "ride or die" worldly advice. In the past I've been very shy about my faith because people my age don't like to talk about God and faith, and some have even mocked me for it, but I have decided to be bold and live my life for Christ regardless of what anyone thinks. One of the things that almost broke me is being in isolation, but God is soo faithful and only by His grace I was delivered. I know God is always on time, so I'm still praying for that inner Godly circle

Man listen- Pastor Mike’s faith has been a refresher for me and his sermons have been speaking to every part of my life. Yet another powerful series.. Relationship Goals helped me a lot especially Before The Person I just turned 24 today and the weeks leading up were very very hard I truly thought by now I'd be in a long term relationship leading to marriage but I've been single for a couple of years and my best friend just got engaged and I am excited for her and a lot people around me are progressing in life and I keep wondering what memo did I miss or what turn didn't I take. I have no community around me to speak to about certain struggles so the devil did play around with my mind for a while. Hearing that word just gave me perspective and peace. I have also been praying about having a community around me and I trust just like this message came at the right time I will get a community as well.

I’m glad I decided to watch this this afternoon in December 2019. I need Godly community, but I need to divorce my toxic relatives that God is telling me to let go of.
I watched it in January 2020... I think I have a Godly community, but for sure I struggle with getting close to people.

I admit I need a Godly community... it hit me when he read the scripture about a person who is alone is in trouble because I stay to myself ALOT and I have things I’m dealing with or feelings of doubt that no one knows about. This sermon hit me so hard the first time i watched it.At the end of this series i made it silent and consistent prayer.I have evaluated my friendships and slowly and organically i see them being stripped away.The thorn of loosing friendships you've had for years- terribly lonely.But Lord i cannot wait for the rose- wholesome purposeful friendships.Watching this again i realize now that my prayers are being answered.No longer staying in relationship because of time served.
On yesterday after church I was walking my dogs and before I went into my home I turned completely around. My flesh felt so alone until I had to pray and on today I was led by God to listen to this message. I started to think who is in my inner circle. I got a text yesterday after the walk, a text and a phone call. God answered me. I know who they are now. You were used to speak healing to my life. I shared the message with my inner circle.

I definitely needed to hear this word today. I'm a grad student in Nairobi, Kenya and I know that being here has always been part of my purpose but it has been one struggle after another. I've lived here for 6 months so far; the first 3 and a half were tough and I was cussing everyone out and had a horrible attitude. Then I came home for Christmas and spoke with one of my inner circle friends and she told me I needed to change my attitude and reactions since I couldn't change my circumstances. I tried that when I came back and January was much better. However, I've been slipping up lately and really questioning why God would allow me to go through such turmoil while living out my purpose. This word helped with that significantly. I now realize that even though I am living in purpose, God is still molding me. There's still so much about myself that I need to learn and being flexible is one of them. Living in a collective society, its hard for Americans because we're not very flexible when things happen. We expect solutions to problems in seconds but here, those solutions may take years. Anyway, thanks for this word! It was much needed today.

This message was so powerful. I’ve been a Christian almost all my life and have been struggling with what my purpose is. You have put it all in perspective. To God be the glory, I can see clearly now. I stepped out on faith and started a woman’s fellowship in my home about 4 months ago. God has been such a blessing in my life. God continue to bless and use you.
