Great video in a very recognizable area, I must of been up in light aircraft maybe 10 times (passenger that is) and it always fascinates me by how busy you have to be as a pilot, even to the point where sightseeing for yourself is seldom done. I don't think I have the ability to multitask like you have to for flying, so that's always scared me off the PPL.
@@Shortbread1015DT that’s awesome, I was away at some point around then so sadly didn’t see your plane. Cool that it was an another Robin sharing the hangar haha. I love Robins, such beautiful planes to fly.
@@Jamaca22 thank you, glad you enjoyed it, I enjoyed flying it and seeing some places I’ve never seen before. It’s definitely on my list of places to visit!
@OutboundDiaries yeah it's a great short field sloped runway. You got things like top golf, snowboarding, go karting and a couple other activities in the area
It's not a rule but generally a courtesy. The hangar BIRT is in is completely empty and not used apart from keeping BIRT in there. When I do start it in there I move out of the hangar straight away anyway. If it was a shared hangar I would move it out manually and start it away from the Hangar not to blow wind in to it.
When you see those white cliffs coming in from the east, you know you are home.😊
Would think you'd been flying for years. Videos very professionally done too and easy to watch and listen to.

VERY PROFESSIONAL 😁Everything looks so different when you fly over it
It’s beautiful up in the sky, even the most unattractive places can look amazing😅
I flew to Shoreham from Germany in my DR400 in April/May and shared a hangar with your aircraft for a few nights! Small world.

Brilliant footage and most engaging commentary, I highly recommend Bodiham Castle as a visit, been there a few times myself.

Lovely video. I was always told not to start up in a hangar. Has that rule changed?

@@OutboundDiaries ok. Thank you.
Seven Sisters are the cliffs near Eastbourne
@@tonyashcroft1406 ah thank you, was quite stumped on the name while flying. Now I know for future reference!
@@OutboundDiaries no problem! I love seeing BIRT flying around as not a common type of aircraft!
how come you have sold BIRT?!?!?
@@Doobrey I haven’t sold BIRT? Have owned BIRT since October 2023
