"Nearly" what I was searching for, as I want to ditch the electrical tape "water proofing" connection that I currently have where my cord exits the motor. I hope you will consider editing this video with the correct water proof connector similar to what you mention in the comments ("pvc liquidtight connector instead of the twin-screw clamp"). Unfortunately the "PVC liquidtight connectors" that I found are designed to attach to pvc conduit. I found the correct connector by searching for "Cable gland cord grip" Thanks!
I’ve got a us motor model number c55cxxdd-4853 and can’t figure out how to hook it up, it’s got two separate diagrams for a high voltage or low voltage, so can’t figure out which one we should be hooking it up to
I have Hayward super pump 1hp that the motor ran hot. I discovered that the guy who hooked it up for me kept the switch at 230v…I guess it should have been at 115v
I suppose that could be done, but I don't know why it would be advantageous over hardwiring it. Check your local codes to ensure there isn't some ordinance against it.
You discontinued the video that would show you how difficult it is to push the terminals over the posts. Also, you didn't address two speed pumps and water proof seal and the Balboa heater connection???
We appreciate the feedback and would love for you to expand on your critique. The one thing we could have done differently is use a pvc liquidtight connector instead of the twin-screw clamp.
My cord went bad. Thank you for posting this tutorial!!!
Glad it helped!

What are the little hook connectors at the end of the wires called, those look like they would be easier to work with and more secure
Insulated wire connectors is what I usually call them.
Female flag disconnects
What is the wire clamp piece called and is there a waterproof version of this?
Are you referring to the electrical wire terminals / terminal butt?

My pump is hard wired to my panel box would I be alright to splice a cable to the pump? Then plug it into a outlet.

You should be using a water tight connector to feed the wire into your pump. The romex connector you show isn’t water tight.
Pool pump connections are supposed to be water tight.
What are those connectors called?
What is the timestamp for when we show the connectors you're referencing?
How do I add a plug wire to a magnetek pool pump. And I don't have the cable that came with it
What is the part number or catalog number of the motor?

I need. No for inground
i have the same question🤔
This is incorrect
