Stumbled on your channel. Great information. Happy to see a native plant channel. I’m working on my Pennsylvania property to be 100% native, almost there. SUBSCRIBED, and will share!
Awesome flower mine finally started blooming after planting them 3 years ago. One tip I've learned, if you put your hand behind the flower it will focus on it easier. Happy native gardening ☺️
Hi Joe, where did you get your shooting star and your native phlox? Also where is your garden and zone? I garden in 6b CT. I have had trouble with growing shooting stars. I had the lavender color and 4 planted in varying partial shade, dried up quickly. I thought they wete just going dormant but now looking at yours they appear much more robust than my shriveled ones.
Thank you. I’ve had the desire for many years & now finally moving forward. Very rewarding.
Beautiful plant and very interesting history! Thank you for sharing it. 👍😃
Couldn’t agree more.

Thanks for the comment. I purchased one at a local nursery then I split it up after a couple of years.
