    Awesome flower mine finally started blooming after planting them 3 years ago. One tip I've learned, if you put your hand behind the flower it will focus on it easier. Happy native gardening ☺️

    Hi Joe, where did you get your shooting star and your native phlox? Also where is your garden and zone? I garden in 6b CT. I have had trouble with growing shooting stars. I had the lavender color and 4 planted in varying partial shade, dried up quickly. I thought they wete just going dormant but now looking at yours they appear much more robust than my shriveled ones.

      Thanks for the comment. I purchased one at a local nursery then I split it up after a couple of years.
