I have an idea for a way in, so you change the piston for the Anti-Bot Bouncy Castle of Doom's so it pushes out more where you can just get on it and let the pistons push you up, and just keep the clock where the piston can't extend fully, maybe make it a bit less time. And just have a switch on the outside where it goes to the logic gate that powers the piston, and just have a way to deactivate it so you'll be able to get in, unextend it, and start the clock to start the bounce. Edit: Also the foods from the cook bot heal all health, thirst, and hunger
The peninsula near the chemical plant is my favorite, if you built a farm their the mountains might affect the raid you have ( mobs may spawn in top of the mountain and fall down and damage themselves and even potentially killing themselves )
My super simple, almost 0 resource solution was to take the heads from the greenies (they float rly well) and make some walls and panels to make a raft. Then you just use your hammer on the panels and it moves and it's fairly quick
The biggest issue is that the raids would spawn on the other side of both of the lakes. If tapebots spawn they would probably be able to hit the base. The ocean is likely the best option because of the limited spawning area. Also functionally unlimited area to expand the base. Not to mention the proximity to all the important resources and locations should make creating content for youtube just that little bit easier.
Actually works very well, it´s bottled so you can easily seperate the milk form the water on the outside. It´s not too difficult to replicate in real life, you just gotta be fast and accept a little bit of water mixing with your milk.
Try leaving the hamster ball open, this way it'll be more stable and allow you to see where you're going when in first person. The ball seemed to move forward rather than rolling on the water, so I think this could work

About that invincible totebot: did you know, that after 4 o`clock all bots that spawn during the raid will just leave ignoring you completely? They will not even attack you back if you chase them down.
@ Andrej Kořínek That’s actually pretty cool. Most YTers just kill the bots before 4:00 (for obvious reasons) so I’ve never seen that. Sounds funny tho lol
As far as I'm concerned I think that the isolated pond would make for a much nicer looking base. You can quickly make your way to the sea spot since you known exactly where it is already. Go there when you need oil or loot or cotton or corn. Not having it close to your base makes it look better and more enjoyable for an audience. That idea of a linking bridge would make it look stunning. As for ease of access well you can very well orient yourself with the sun. This ain't gonna be a problem for you ;). I'm pretty sure you can already make your way back there with your eyes closed. Also that opens up the door for plenty of new things you haven't tried before. That's pretty good for a UA-camr I'd say :).
Its really fun to test your breath holding against the scrap mechanic character. Start holding your breath when the character goes underwater at 6:50, and hold your breath until the character starts drowning. (I beat the character)
Best survival player right here. But. You know you dont really need the sphere. Just use the bubble wrap to make a large flat raft and use the wood to make a rim around the edge for hammering. Notice how high the ball was floating? It didnt sink down more than 3-4 blocks.
One good base idea would be an airborne base; like with connections to two different buildings, and have your farm below or close to water beside.Another idea for the airborne base would be to see if you could lock yourself in between four trees or something in between, something that cannot be touched by a farmbot or boss. the only problem would be farming, but that depends on your placement.
Every Mechanic before the update: We'll delete this of the ground and weld creations to sticks connected to the ground to reduce lag. (Almost) every Mechanic after the update: Ow, my drill fell of... Meh,... I'll make another one. *forgets about lag*
Ok so ScrapMan I have an idea, at 23:18 there is a big tree and I think that you should make a tree house. The tree house would have a car elevator to lift the cars up to the house. There will be button at the bottom that you can activate to bring down the elevator or up and the same goes for up in the tree house. The base will be close to the farm att all times so even if you forget about a raid you will be close by but the farmbots won`t be able to attack your house. Thanks for reading and keep up the good work love your vids! :)
I realize this is an old video now, but it got me thinking. Having a glow stick launcher with a glow stick crate, would be really cool for nighttime related tasks. If you could launch them further or with a trajectory’s like a spud gun, it would make them so much more useful. While I’m talking about added mechanics to the game, I would love to see a spud gun attachment for them, where you hit a button (F maybe) and it launches a glow stick like a grenade launcher attachment from your inventory. I would love that so much! It would make glow sticks so much more relevant.
Go for an Island, bonuses, 1. You only have greenies during the raid but they still have to swim to your island so they are slow thus you can knock them off without having to worry about others 2. Plentiful water and ocean/lake recorces. Disadvantages, 1 you have to swim or boat to shore so you have to build a bridge or ferry.
I like the most isolated spot the most because of that island in the middle and the terrain around it Ocean access is great but if i remember correctly 1 oil = 1 fuel so with 10 oil spots in one lake you could go for some time with lvl 5 engines Also ocean access is overrated in this state of the game because noone has gone to the edge of the map ... if it even exists we dont know if there even is islands worth going to
one of the ponds for a main base preferably the large one then make a small farming base on the ocean for auto farming oil when the update comes out or make a boat harbor on the ocean and have a boat for exploring and maybe a mobile auto oil miner contraption thing idk the oil boat seems far fetched but its worth a try if it doesn't work just make a big oil rig/platform in an oil rich aria
Hey ScrapMan! I exist. I’ve made an upgraded Version of all your failed builds in TrailMakers. (In My Color Style Of course) ((I cant play SMS or SMC because console version hasn’t been made yet)) please Note my existence in one of your next videos.
I like the most isolated one because its kinda cool that it's close the the trader and it has walls around it, but it's not to far from everything. It's also the coolest.
All the videos I've watched of yours the lag in the the farming raids goes up exponentially when you have crops planted and it stops lagging so bad after you harvest then fight the raid. Great videos
I definitely think the first, smaller, isolated pond area you found you should use. You can make almost like a dock surrounding the entire perimeter of the small island and have a base cut off from most of the farm bots. And have a wall and a main farm on the peninsula. Plus I don't see you needing much more oil that you have there.
Scrap man the peninsula you saw in last place is personally my favourite because I like the idea that you would have a bridge and the small island will have stilts with your bass on top of it I really like that idea so keep it in mind by scrap man by the way you’re my favourite UA-camr👍
ScrapMan should make his bace flouting out on the water with the caged traders. (They are very buoyant), and then have a bridge connecting it, and then have the farm on a grassy island.
1: Another thing you need to keep in mind when deciding where to build a base is where you are going to store your cars and all that crafting/storage. one option is make a platform built just above the water with a draw bridge going to that platform.

Ocean access is great but if i remember correctly 1 oil = 1 fuel so with 10 oil spots in one lake you could go for some time with lvl 5 engines
Also ocean access is overrated in this state of the game because noone has gone to the edge of the map ... if it even exists we dont know if there even is islands worth going to
Actually survival does have a wall exactly like creative minus the post apocalyptic landscape and fences

one of the ponds for a main base preferably the large one then make a small farming base on the ocean for auto farming oil when the update comes out or make a boat harbor on the ocean and have a boat for exploring and maybe a mobile auto oil miner contraption thing idk the oil boat seems far fetched but its worth a try if it doesn't work just make a big oil rig/platform in an oil rich aria
The lake with the fields and massive hill nearby is most eye pleasing of them all and something different than everyone else does.
I feel lile building on that island in the mid of the lake with a draw bridge may be more interesting
yeah that spot would look cooler with the bridges and stuff he will make. But lacks resource unfortunately :(
I agree
Hey ScrapMan! I exist. I’ve made an upgraded Version of all your failed builds in TrailMakers.
(In My Color Style Of course) ((I cant play SMS or SMC because console version hasn’t been made yet)) please Note my existence in one of your next videos.

I like the most isolated one because its kinda cool that it's close the the trader and it has walls around it, but it's not to far from everything. It's also the coolest.
23 seconds yeaaaaaaaaaaas

All the videos I've watched of yours the lag in the the farming raids goes up exponentially when you have crops planted and it stops lagging so bad after you harvest then fight the raid. Great videos
I definitely think the first, smaller, isolated pond area you found you should use. You can make almost like a dock surrounding the entire perimeter of the small island and have a base cut off from most of the farm bots. And have a wall and a main farm on the peninsula. Plus I don't see you needing much more oil that you have there.

Find an island and build there! I know im a genius
That's what I did
Greenies and bosses can swim sooooooooo
@@beacher50_ Bosses go underwater, they don't swim and if they fixed it then they are rather slow so you can take them out really fast
I don't think you are the only one xD
Better idea, build a fortress on the water that uses trapped farmers to float.
I’m second
He should make his bubble-ball to where it turns into kind of a platform for water farms
Then he doesn’t have to worry about raids
Scrap man the peninsula you saw in last place is personally my favourite because I like the idea that you would have a bridge and the small island will have stilts with your bass on top of it I really like that idea so keep it in mind by scrap man by the way you’re my favourite UA-camr👍

ScrapMan should make his bace flouting out on the water with the caged traders. (They are very buoyant), and then have a bridge connecting it, and then have the farm on a grassy island.
I like the spot near the ocean, it might not be as cool as the other spots but you're scouting for functionality.
