Thank you Brother for this video, very informative. I did not know about the memory loss thing but I have not taken this med very long. Doctor Berg did also say something about vitamin B2 or B12 but you gave more info on the memory loss and the long or slow activating metformin. Thanks again and blessings.
My dr switched me to extended release. It's been hard for me to pin down exactly what has been causing some of my problems. Is it metformin, or not? When I was on a lower dose, there were no side effects. But the first time I experienced a reaction I blamed it on the covid booster, which I'd gotten earlier that day. I've changed my diet since being diagnosed w type 2 diabetes and a few times I've eaten candy or cookies that have zero sugar. But whatever chemical is used to sweeten these foods makes me very ill indeed. This happened twice, so I won't be eating stuff like that anymore. Did the metformin worsen the reaction? I wonder.
I’ve been taking this extended release for fee days just one to begin with and I’m already having bad stomach. I’m planning to take it for few weeks to see if my body will get used to it.
After taking metformin for many years , my Dr. Took me off it as my sugar would drop very low at bedtime and i have problems to fast for a blood test, unfortunately , for me I started to get seriously sick and, my blood sugar would go sky high even without eating anything for hours.I decided to contiue to take the metormin and I was back to normal.I would like to know how can i come off metformin , as i eat relatively plant base foods and fruits in moderation.
Bravo! Of all the Metformin videos and articles I've seen, yours is the first to mention switching brands. 🏆 There are many Metformin ER generics approved by the FDA, and they are *not* all the same. I had a strong GI reaction when my former pharmacy switched generic brands, and the symptoms persisted until my new pharmacist suggested I try several different brands, and I soon found one that greatly reduced my GI distress. (Also, a few months later, I sharply reduced my carb intake, and the GI effects pretty much disappeared.)
Thank you. I came here because of my 4th upset stomach in 2 weeks since starting Metformin.
Sorry to hear that. It usually gets better with time. Hope that is the case for you. All the best.
@@HealthRX Yes! For all out there reading this, the upset stomach symptoms go away. This product is really helping me.
Good video! Thanks for these good tips! I'm having problems with nausea.

Yeah you definitely get diarrhea and feel weak all the time, but I heard that taking half a pill with food helps a lot, so I'm gonna try it
