    What is the common types of food eaten, and how common was alcoholic drinks imbibed and what kinds, if you don't mind me asking?

    Any place there were oaks, there was acorn flour, acorn cakes and acorn porridge.

    I love your videos, Caroline! I am in the process of writing a historic fiction story set in the British Iron Age, and have stumbled upon some of your videos, which I find are invaluable. I went to University for American and Medieval Histories, but find myself drawn more to Medieval History, especially Iron Age Britain, Roman Britain, and Viking Britain.
