Can confirm that I’ve genuinely started to enjoy cooking after this thali! I made payokh, the chicken and mati dal twice since then 😭♥️ Thank you Vishal and Assam 🙏🏼
Yes this is the only video where the cook isn't so stupid. How tf other creator think that it is *cute & funny* to be messy and being incapable to do even the most basic things
THAT ASSAMESE LINE AISHWARYA SAID AT THE END, IT WAS SO PERFECT THAT IT ALMOST FELT LIKE NATIVE IS SPEAKING, KUDOS TO BUZZFEED, AISHWARYA AND VISHAL FOR THIS VIDEO! THIS WAS WHOLESOME! LOVE FROM ASSAM 💙
@@senggaopurusa8843 To be honest, it literally ain't going well.... Sadly, many people still think Assam's an underdeveloped and boring place without even considering the incredible nature, beautiful and varied cultures and finger licking good food. As a Sattriya student myself, it hurts so much when people say they never heard about Sattriya although it's a part of India's 8 classical dance forms... Same is the case in the other fields 😢
I just loved how Aishwarya is speaking with an Assamese accent in few words. It felt really good when people of different State , different community respect our culture and shows this kind of generosity. All though we face many criticism, discrimination outside Assam but when platforms like BuzzFeed shows this kind of respect and good vibes, then we can surely say that there is some people outside who will respect us, be kind to us. Thank you Vishal, Aishwarya and BuzzFeed team fro bringing us such good videos😊😘. Keep doing 💞🙌🏻
Aishwarya is so systematic. That's why her cooking experience is so smooth. I feel like her prep is fully done, she's not clumsy, she knows where everything is.. so talented. Shreya on the other hand is sooo clumsy, drops stuff, keeps running around to find stuff.. lol no shade Shreya. You give gals like us hope 😂
Aish will enjoy cooking these Assamese dishes as it's less oily and healthy. Hope she tries more recipes Just realised, my comment is mentioned there kkajaapjsjka!!
Thank you for making this video 😍🥺 I love how BuzzFeed is introducing Assamese food in other parts of India 🤍🤍 I would love to see more videos like this👍😊
Aishwarya- if you get hold of that start up which gives chopped and peeled ingredients please let us know too! PS- the whole time Aishwarya was making Aloo pitika in my mind i was singing Vishal's 'aloo pitika' song from his chugli tv😂 Great job vishal. The most balanced and simple Axomiya thali for beginners❤️

Aloo pitika is smashed boiled potatoes with chilli and onions added with mustard oil and salt
Bamboo shoot is used by tribes of tamil nadu. It actually has many good health qualities like it cures back pain and gives height and improves immunity and many more. Just to mention that I see similarities.
