Life Group Discussion:
Do you give for God’s glory or man’s glory? Where do you need to be challenged?
When you are praying with others, is it easy for you to just talk to God or do you get distracted on what you are going to pray in the presence of others?
Is the “why” you fast because you want to appear spiritual to others? What is your motive?
I just love how honest and practical the preachings are. Transparent, everything from the Bible (no new context or human wisdom) and direct. May the Lord keep guiding you JP
Oh how I wish I lived in Waco! I’m from waco but I now live in Houston. And I listen to you each week because you strengthen my faith and speak so honestly. I don’t want to ever believe I’m saved and find out it was fake all along. Thank you pastor Jonathan.

That would make his "Why" for preaching rewarded on the Earth and not in Heaven where the reward is worth it. If someone feels the need, they can give their "Amen". I hope you have a wonderful and strong journey with God throughout your life. God loves you😁

Something I’ve been seeking answers to is in regard to giving. If I give out of obedience is my heart postured in the wrong direction??
Anytime you give you are being like the Lord Jesus. Give on sis give on!!!
Are you doing this “because I have to” or because you fear God and what disobeying means according to scripture (aka disobeying doesn’t get you into heaven) or because you Truly want to give because you truly love God and want to give because of the love you have
“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
