This video was sent to me on January 14, 2024, from a dear, dear friend in Summerville, South Carolina, and it punched me square in the heart. What a beautiful story. What a beautiful documentary full of beautiful people with beautiful hearts ( sometimes broken) doing beautiful things. This is a story that I must share. It checks all the boxes of a well-put-together story. It's a story of inspiration, tragedy, love, perseverance, victory, and grit. I laughed and cried and held my breath. Is he winning the match? Is that a good move? I was on the edge of my chair. Everything I know about wrestling, I learned in 44 minutes and 11 seconds. Everything I know about honoring your father, following your dreams, staying focused, working hard, mentoring from your heart, what it means to be a Rebel, and the silent ones speaks the loudest I learned in the past 44 minutes and 11 seconds. Who knew carrying a stack of chairs equals hitting the weight room? Congratulations to all involved in James Green's life story. I want to be Bob in the hat in someone's life, and I want a Bob in the hat in my life. If the goal of good storytelling is to make a connection in the first seven minutes, you guys did it to perfection. When anyone asks me Who is James Green, they have better have 44 minutes and 11 seconds to listen because I will tell this story. Thanks, JTA. This is what love looks like. This story must be told!
As they should, if they want to help grow the sport... My 12 year old has more views than this video. Private interests keep wrestling alive, definitely not these morons.
@@Michael-eb3ne I think Flo has done a lot for promotion of the sport, and I understand they need compensation for their own well-being and to keep providing the coverage they do. It is nice when content like this is made free for those of us who do not have memberships at this time.
Yes, they are an important entity within the sport as of now. My point is that, private interest groups primarily fund them. They are taking full advantage of individuals, and it will ultimately cause their demise. If you had a paid membership you would see, they still have ads on videos. They double and triple dip, and that's not okay with me. I also know the individual in charge of flo wrestling, and he is about as big of a piece of shit as they come. As soon as I found out be ran things, it made much more sense. They could easily provide completely free access, with limited ads, and still be very profitable. Being free would grow the sport astronomically due to its huge presence in mma. From the outside, it looks like they are doing a great job. In reality, they are stunting the growth of wrestling.
@@Michael-eb3ne I agree 100%! We need to grow this sport. We can't expose potential new fans and supporters if they have to pay to get exposed to it. Flo is all about profit with growing wrestling's popularity somewhere down the list of their priorities, if it's there at all.
Go NJ wrestlers! Great story of perseverance and humility and family. Ever a fan of James green. Bob is the epitome of jersey ethic, will give it all for a friend. That's NJ!
I absolutely will be a fan of James from now on I love his story. This entire documentary has me glued to the screen. I think his family and friends are too notch and he’s a star in wrestling my Lord!
Incredible story. James you have had these great examples your dad/bob others and so cool to see you stepping into fatherhood with passion and commitment. Go get it man!
Wow I never knew your story bro! Watching you I know you’ll be the best. It was definitely an amazing experience wrestling on the same team as you in HS 💯 boro pride 💪🏾
Awesome story....one that all involved should be proud of,....like in wrestling & life there are obstacles to challenge an individuals character....for those friends & family members who helped guide James , I thank u.....there is still truth in the old saying "it takes a village to raise a child" .....good luck James to u & your family in your new episode in your life....your a class guy with a bright future
Look at how young his mother STILL LOOKS. James Green's dad stayed on him because he did not want his son growing up and becoming a statistic like so many other young black men do in America every single year.
I agree. I have a hear deficit, background noise/music is something my hearing can't sort out. This background music becomes foreground to the point I can't make what is being said. This story is incredible, it doesn't need music to tell us what emotions to feel.
Y’all need to keep making these documentaries. I’m loving them
And make em free too

nice. bob is the man. James is cool too. :)
Great doc. But your music is way too loud to understand what people are saying 80% of the time.
