The line he told that instead of spending lakhs of money to Institute you can learn from yt and purchased udemy skillshare courses which are way more cheap and you can build a good pc which helps you to grow because it is very important component and many don't tell us and even if you join Institute you have to build a good pc and it literally becomes expensive

You forgot one thing a lot of people don't even what to search on UA-cam. I was doing vfx for 3-4 years using After effects. but when i joined MAAC Andheri i got a better learning of 3d and simulation now i am a Houdini artist. I will agree now everything is available online but one thing online wont have have the interaction and discussion you can have with professional teacher anytime. I would suggest new comers to find what works for them.

Recommendation : the purple light behind you steals the look you're going for (dark & subject focus). My attention automatically shifts to the harsh light behind you. Maybe you can soften it, or blur it or just remove. Might look good

You are right bro .. That’s why I left MAAC … they only used to teach software basics .. 🤦🏻♂️
My course was Advanced 3D edge .. it was 3 years course the fee was 3.5 lakh and they used to teach only 2 hour per day 3 days in a week ..
But one thing in offline u get interaction with teacher n ur freinds u can discuss ideas with them ..
*Note - it depends on u ur creativity not institute
you can also get Hands on Industry standard Softwares....and the Huge Powerful RIGs those Institues have ?

@@tarannummerchant726 Yes leave this as at the end you be only focused on one particular subject. so why not invest in a good workstation and learn what you really want to be, such as Animator, compositor, video editor etc

Your wrong Kunwar I passed my vfx course back in 2011 and as per experience joining an institution is pressure to complete task and learn deeply. But if you are learning with UA-cam you get lazy and thinking a lot to join a institute or find a mentor.
Re-edit : I am trying to learn Blender over a year+ but still havent made anything with it, but I know power of blender is way too advanced then any 3d software. so I mean to say if I were in an institute and they had a blender course I may have mastered blender too, but see I am learning from youtube and the results are way too slow. or maybe im lazy

Autodesk is costly af...also you get those Powerful PC's to work on + to build your portfolio + Contacts, networking

Talking about Blender... Blender is Absolutely wonderful software for what it is for FREE!♥
The issue is Not all tutorials have a goood Workflow.... There are few channels who really know the studio needs.
There is too much noise on UA-cam in all the video genres...

My opinion.
Last year,October i started learning animation, Vfx and 3d softwares. Almost a year learning it and already loving what i am doing. I joined an institute year ago and according to my experience, institute play an important role in learning. Base must be strong only then youtube and other things would make sense to every learner. UA-cam is a great platform to learn things but not everything what a learner need. Institute and other sources ( UA-cam) both play important role.Knowledge available with the institute is not available on youtube and vice versa.
* My experience with the institute i choose se is going pretty well but be smart enough to choose which institute you would like to learn from.

I started learning video editing 2 years ago...in mobile📱 but now I have a laptop💻 and I learnt too many interesting things in Premiere Pro 😊😊for last two months... And now I am starting to learn After Effects..(*Without any INSTITUTE)..All thanks to you for inspiring me.🙋

This guy is speaking the right point, I am studying game design from university but we are learning nothing there. Even we don't Have time to practice on our skills after classes. Financial issues, mismanagement, less advance subjects, less powerful systems, no equipments, extra subjects with no benefits, wasting time, unexpereinced staff, focus on degree not skill, theoretical not practical and much more, these will terminate your talent and you will easily end up your career.

kunwar bhai you miss 1 point there is no compitition from learning online but when you joint institute there are many competitors like you who want to be a vfx artist... but now a days there is lots of guys are just joining the instruction and they don't have an single knowledge about this field... so only joint institute or and big decision making a proper knowledge about it

Bro there is so many competition now a days is happening in yt to improve our editing skills. Any we get a tough competitor in this competitions and if u feel that you r not doing that much level of editing then u can share ur edit in yt. People will rate u judge u. So joining a institutions is a waste of money.
You can build community instead joining institutes for a community you can join discord server associated with your skills and you can build your socials with the members of the server

Yeah I completed this year degree in Digital Arts and Animation
And they not even teach 10% of production pipeline. No practice, pc's are suck!!!! I learned from lot of through UA-cam.

Kyuki yaar yeh INSTITUTE aaram se minimum 1.8L - 2.5L lelete hai and kahi kahi toh it goes 5L+ which is a HUGE AMOUNT ..usse accha online sites like CGMA/Flipped Normals , etc & UA-cam pe better teachers & industry professional milenge jo kum paiso mein fantastic knowledge denge.

In my opinion one should learn from a institute becoz it provides job directly to the studio without any hurdles and it gives the opportunity to show skills and create reputation throughout the institute which automatically helps a person to work in the limelight...😄

1) tum youtube pe apne doubts clear nhi karwa sakte....major doubts ki baat alag ha but if agar koi beginner vfx start kr raha ha toh kuch cheeze essi hongi jo ki youtube pe tumhe nhi milega aur agar mil jaye toh usme waqt bohot jaaya hoga, ye cheez mene khud experiance kiya ha.
2) vfx and 3d animation is all about a teamwork, toh mereko mere room main beth ke wo wala environment nhi milne wala jo ki mereko mere center main mil raha hai.
Ho sakta ha ki aap sahi ho but cheeze center to center change hoti ha.....main apni experiance ki baat karu toh am glad to have my teachers in life.

Sadly but I have mastered more than 15+ softwares only due to joining institute for 3d animations and vfx. If I were doing UA-cam or online skill development it might took forever to get your hands on this field.

Every institution will teach you with basic tools and terminology of Photoshop.
As if you understand Photoshop you can learn easily. Every software you work on needs a touch of Photoshop.
Im not saying you cannot learn advanced visual graphics or 3d animations online but it's worth to join physical classes

Bro woh sab theek prr middle class wale bache agar ghar pr baith krr sikhne chaye toh possible nahi hai kyunki itni sara work hota hai ghar ka dhang se sikh nahi pate bichme hi uthna padta hai so agar koi college institute join kiya toh ek particular time milega sikhne ko contacts badhenge aur degree tob milo gi hi aur kuch alag session hote hai

Many institutions offer a student loan as well... that's what i did when i joined the vfx institute.
I was not in a place to afford 1.10 lakhs fees so i talked to the people at institution and they were really supportive...they got me 2000 per month emi loan which was way more affordable for me. So do your research and find a way that's best for you. A system that worked for others may not work for you. So you have choose a system that works for you and you're comfortable in.

They are avoiding the risks and thus, a 17/18 yr old will not able to grab those opportunities.

Bro , a camera is must only when you're at point ki tum use afford kr sko and khud achi earning krre ho , but if u don't have that big amount , you can still use smartphone ,and then color grade in premiere pro mast maja ayega ,. Yaa toh I phone 13 mini ya 13 lelo bhot sahi option hai !

first sidha pehle sidha basic softwares lo jaise premiere pro, photoshop , after effects, maya,substance painter, z-brush, mudbox, 3d equalizer, houdini, nuke, silhouette, mocha pro bs i think agr tm inse se koi bhi combo lete ho like modeling or texturing, comp , paint, roto, animation, simulation, rendering to ye hi softwares h puri industry m ko use hote h
