I like especially and1 shoes . Now that everyone’s on lockdown and Walmart is main thing open, those shoes don’t seem that bad. Better then than nothing ,unless you go online there’s not much around as far as in store purchases go.
I use these to mountain bike because the pins stick in the soles they grip very well I need ankle support. just water proof them and you'll have a ok pair of mountain bike shoes

Honestly I've had expensive nikes wear out very fast considering it's price, you have to admit name brand is always gonna make price go up people ,just because something is more expensive does not mean its better ,supply and demand ,somthing is only worth what people are willing to pay for it ,not saying just because it's more expensive that it isn't better either but ask yourself how much better for how much more money theres a point of diminishing return ,so let's say a 150 dollar pair of shoes are made a little better than 16 dollar pair of shoes it's probably not going to be 134 dollars better the cost also comes from the name on the shoe ,because people will blindly buy what's popular usually but if people just stopped buying garbage then businesses would have to make products either more appropriately priced or up the quality ,also im not trying to argue with anyone im just informing people that while higher quality stuff is more expensive that doesn't mean expensive stuff is high quality

Shoes like those can give you irreversible damage especially to your knees. That sole "durability" is the worst I've ever seen. For people on a budget go to Marshals, Ross, Burlington, or the outlets. You can find steals for only a bit more $
