This is a great demo. The hum certainly seems improved, it may be less than current BB series Yamaha’s. The Hybrid also has a great slap tone, something I do not always say about PJ’s.

Will the VTC conversion kit work on these or do you need the whole drop in preamp?

Roger Sadowsky has yet to put a preamp in those basses that has treble and bass boost and cut.
