@@vojvoda9060 The computer will just see that you need lots of watts at a low speed, you could just be riding up lots of steep hills. Also this hack is totally reversible so it would be hard to tell that it was ever done.
Ich hab das beim cube mit Bosch performance Motor Bj2017 und Haibike mit Yamaha Motor schon seit Anfang an und es funktioniert Einwandfrei. Das cube macht gerne mal ne errormeldun , dazu aber einfach den Sensor an die ursprüngliche Position bringen , den Magneten auch und dann einfach neustarten. Geile Sache und man brauch kein chiptuning machen

Außerdem ist das nutzen eines getunten Fahrrades im öffentliche Straßenverkehr ein Strafhandlung ist. Man benutzt ein Fahrzeug ohne Betriebserlaubnis. Wenn man erwischt wird, kostet es um die 3000 € Strafe und der Fahrrad wird 3-4 Wochen aus dem Verkehr gezogen bis es von der Staatsanwaltschaft wieder freigeben wird. Siehe Focus TV ab Minute 8:00.
I have a 'Giant GrandTour E+ 1 from 2018 with a Yamaha motor (60 Nm, 250 W). Giant calls it SyncDrive Life motor. I tried this method. After putting the magnet on the pedal I got two outcomes, 1) the motor works only a little bit, basically it is not working. 2) After changing the position of the magnet several times at last the motor works as before the delimiting, namely the Ebike moves maximal 25 Kmh. In both case the speed display display from 4 to 99 kmh. Anyone has any advice? Thanks in advance! My guss is: the position of the magnet plays an important role and there is a maximal working limit for this Yamaha model motor and the motor working limit cannot be surpassed even we change the position of the magnet.
I wonder if you would change the wheel diameter on the display, that it would give you the correct speed. They say its about a 3de of the normal wheel size so that would be arround 740mm.
Nice tip But after using the bike like that longtime it will damage the battery also the engine so do the trick just when you have to go somewhere fast on normal days i recommend to the the sensor in initial place
I tried it on my Bosch Gen4. What to say? Firstly, driving at high speed for a long time is very difficult, you start to sweat and get tired. Due to the high air resistance, battery consumption increases. In addition, on my new 12-speed Sram transmission, the chain began to slip on the smallest sprocket and I couldn't use it. Sehe ich genauso ! Das hat nichts mit ob nun europäischer asiatischener oder sons eine Art von Angst zu tun ! Eher hat es mit Vernunft zu tun es nicht nach zu machen Wenn solche leutz erst einmal erwischt werden und dafür blechen müssen ! Dawerden schon einige von ihnen schon zur Vernunft kommen ! Teurer wird es zudem auch noch ! kommen erst einmal Menschen in Gefahr und werden verletzt ! Dann ist die ausrede, das habe ich ja nicht gewusst und gewollt, nicht mehr relevant.
Das geht ein paar hundert kilometer gut. Dann bekommst du ein paar mal error 503 und nach ca dem dritten mal hast du einen irreparablen software motorschaden und dein rad unterstützt nurnoch bis zu einer kadenz die 6kmh entspricht. Danach brauchst du einen neuen Motor! Das ist kein Witz, sondern Erfshrungswerte von Rädern aus verschiedenen baujahren (bosch)
Der Fehler ist auch bei mir tatsächlich schon einmal aufgetaucht. Einfach den Sensor wieder zurückbauen und ein paar Meter normal fahren und man kann ihn danach wieder schneller machen. Hab das Problem bei ca. 20000km zwei Mal gehabt und war immer in 5 Minuten wieder eingestellt
weißt du ob du bei deinem motor schon einen Sensor verbaut hast, der die umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit der Kurbel misst. Habe gesehen dass die 2017er Yamaha Motoren einen solchen haben und frage mich ob bei diesem "Tuningtrick" dann nicht doch die Meldung ERROR käme

Magnet an Pedale und Sensor mit Klettband .....den standardradmagnet kann man drauf lassen , der ist dann ohne funktion. Und nebenbei , bei soviel dran gebastel fällt das schon beim vorbei fahren auf😅...also eh nur auf Privatgelände 😎
@@Allforone711 einfach ein Magnet ans ende der pedale das zum Rahmen zeigt machen.. Die Positionierung des Sensor abstimmen.. 👉 das passt meistens genau mit länge des Kabels und abstand zum Magnet ist das in 2 Minuten max. 👉 😁 testweise auf privat Weg testen.. Magnet und Sensor dürfen aber beim Pedalen "gerade so" aneinander vorbei kommen 1 bis 2 mm.. Wie es auch währe im Orginal wenn der Speichenmagnet normal am Sensor vorbei geht 🤫🤷♂️.. 👉 man kann die Magneten die in Papers Packung verklebt sind nehmen 😉☝️ die sind in den OCB kurzen ganz in Ordnung (etwas stark um Papers zu schützen xD aber für Diy allemal zu gebrauchen)

Do someone have problem when all put back in original state? When I put it back on in factory settings yamaha pw st motor, display is blinking (range, odo etc) and speed sensor doesnt pick up spee (0 km /h) motor is workimg, I ve tested through diagnostics on yamaha diag software , and in diagnostic program is showing no of turnings of the wheel regularly, but no assistance anymore Bike is haibike alltrail 6
@@BaSiC47 dont do it. According to expierience between 150 and 250km it will stop. I didnt solve it (yet). In bosch, you drive 90min without help of the motor, engine reset itself. I drove around 200km

AM anfang des Videos sieht man ihn bergauf rasen. Wie soll das möglich sein? Wenn ich die Position des Sensors verändere, gaukle ich dem System vor das Rad würde langsamer fahren als es in Wirklichkeit tut. Folglich schaltet die Unterstützung erst später ab. Mehr Leistung als die 250 Watt bekomme ich aber nicht. Also werde ich zumindest bergauf, den Abschaltpunkt nicht erreichen. 250 Watt sind 250 Watt. Auf flachem Gelände kann es etwas bringen da ich hier die 250 Watt bei 25 kmh nicht ausnutze. Bergab fahre ich auch ohne Tuning schneller als 25 kmh. Das ganze illegale Spielchen bringt also höchstens in flachem gelände etwas mehr Geschwindigkeit. Bergauf mit Sicherheit nicht. Aber jeder muss ja selber wissen was er tut.
Frage wenn ich das so mache wird da der Motor nicht gesperrt. Und wenn ich dann ein Service mache und das vorher wieder zurück baue sieht das der fahrrad Händler?? Oder nicht
Dem akku ist es egal wie viel er verbraucht. Nur bremsen und Co gehen schneller auf als normal. Und das bike ist halt auch nicht für solche Geschwindigkeiten ausgelegt

Ist bestimmt zu spät aber nein das ist nicht der Fall. Warum sollte es eine Meldung geben wenn du nicht trittst, man bekommt nur eine wenn der Motor Power gibt und man nicht schneller wird. (hatte ich öfters weil ich zuerst den Magneten einfach weggelassen habe.)

@@matchello10679 Musst mit dem Rad zum Händler, um den Fehlerspeicher zu löschen, der Fehler 503 kommt eigentlich nur bei einem Sensor Fehler nicht bei Manipulation, der sollte nämlich 513 sein. Bei dir könnte es sein, dass vielleicht der Sensor einen Defekt hat. Ganz wichtig für dich ist, dass die Gewährleistung dadurch nicht entfällt. Also lass dich nicht abwimmeln. Die Aussetzer kommen davon, wenn der Motor nicht richtig die Geschwindigkeit messen kann, geht er in den Notlauf.

Here is the hard truth about tricking the speed sensor, the motors are programmed to the chain ring sizes, rear cassette and wheel circumference. When the motor is tricked the torque sensor inside the motor will fail, when this happens you will then have to purchase a new motor at a rrp £800 or so. I know this because I programm Yamaha motors. Then you will complain about the price.
Of course we complain about the price!! Because there is no logical reason that makes a bike electric or not more expensive than a scooter or a motorcycle!! Electric bikes are too expensive because constructors and retailer are some motharfacking thieves, that's it!!
Jason this exact error came up on mine when I had the SPEEDBOX 2 installed, Torque Sensor failed. New motor is my only option, expensive lesson to learn. Is the crank magnet the same, as it’s not connected to any wiring, computer ?

1 yr on , I ride 5 times a wk for a year bike still performing fine.
Please use some hot glue for the magnet aswel. Or you run the risk of loosing it.

When I put it back on in factory settings yamaha pw st motor, display is blinking (range, odo etc) and speed sensor doesnt pick up spee (0 km /h) motor is workimg, I ve tested through diagnostics on yamaha diag software , and in diagnostic program is showing no of turnings of the wheel regularly, but no assistance anymore

@@BaSiC47 dont do it. According to expierience between 150 and 250km it will stop. I didnt solve it (yet). In bosch, you drive 90min without help of the motor, engine reset itself. I drove around 200km

AM anfang des Videos sieht man ihn bergauf rasen.
Wie soll das möglich sein? Wenn ich die Position des Sensors verändere, gaukle ich dem System vor das Rad würde langsamer fahren als es in Wirklichkeit tut.
Folglich schaltet die Unterstützung erst später ab.
Mehr Leistung als die 250 Watt bekomme ich aber nicht.
Also werde ich zumindest bergauf, den Abschaltpunkt nicht erreichen.
250 Watt sind 250 Watt.
Auf flachem Gelände kann es etwas bringen da ich hier die 250 Watt bei 25 kmh nicht ausnutze.
Bergab fahre ich auch ohne Tuning schneller als 25 kmh.
Das ganze illegale Spielchen bringt also höchstens in flachem gelände etwas mehr Geschwindigkeit.
Bergauf mit Sicherheit nicht.
Aber jeder muss ja selber wissen was er tut.
Hält der Magnet denn an der Pedale, oder sollte man lieber nen extra Magnet kaufen und wenn ja welchen

Yes. Your motor will burn out and your battery wiont last long. These motors aren't made to go faster. It overloads them.

Habe den Magneten auch mit einem kabelbinder gesichert,sicher iss sicher aber wie schädlich iss das ganze für Akku und co. ?
Dem akku ist es egal wie viel er verbraucht. Nur bremsen und Co gehen schneller auf als normal. Und das bike ist halt auch nicht für solche Geschwindigkeiten ausgelegt

@@Robert-qo3fd Naja es ist Panzertape. Wenn es einmal klebt dann kann es auch nicht einfach von Wasser gelöst werden. Hatte das beim Bund für fast alles im Einsatz. Teilweise richtiges Teufelszeug.

It works perfect in my Yamaha Sduro Hardseven 4.0 and the speed reaches the 35 Km/hr but of cource you must install en extra speedometer to read the real speed. Try again

Ist bestimmt zu spät aber nein das ist nicht der Fall. Warum sollte es eine Meldung geben wenn du nicht trittst, man bekommt nur eine wenn der Motor Power gibt und man nicht schneller wird. (hatte ich öfters weil ich zuerst den Magneten einfach weggelassen habe.)
Beim Bosch wird es aber nach einer gewissen zeit vom System erkannt. Haben wir auch schon Probiert.

Selbst nach rückbau und reseten bekomm ich keine werte aufm display.

@@matchello10679 Musst mit dem Rad zum Händler, um den Fehlerspeicher zu löschen, der Fehler 503 kommt eigentlich nur bei einem Sensor Fehler nicht bei Manipulation, der sollte nämlich 513 sein. Bei dir könnte es sein, dass vielleicht der Sensor einen Defekt hat. Ganz wichtig für dich ist, dass die Gewährleistung dadurch nicht entfällt. Also lass dich nicht abwimmeln. Die Aussetzer kommen davon, wenn der Motor nicht richtig die Geschwindigkeit messen kann, geht er in den Notlauf.

Here is the hard truth about tricking the speed sensor, the motors are programmed to the chain ring sizes, rear cassette and wheel circumference. When the motor is tricked the torque sensor inside the motor will fail, when this happens you will then have to purchase a new motor at a rrp £800 or so. I know this because I programm Yamaha motors. Then you will complain about the price.
Of course we complain about the price!! Because there is no logical reason that makes a bike electric or not more expensive than a scooter or a motorcycle!! Electric bikes are too expensive because constructors and retailer are some motharfacking thieves, that's it!!
i made this cheap change on my haibike and its working since 3 years (about 6000km !) and there is no problem, but much joy :)
Jason this exact error came up on mine when I had the SPEEDBOX 2 installed, Torque Sensor failed. New motor is my only option, expensive lesson to learn. Is the crank magnet the same, as it’s not connected to any wiring, computer ?
