Tbh the sprites are kind of distracting because of how overly saturated and bright they are I’m not really sure how it looks 3d but these are just regular sprites with simple saturation which kind of looks like cell shading. I’m not that familiar with 2d art but that’s what it looks like to me

you know the most unsettling part of this song is imo? the beginning. the instrumental before "sonic" starts singing gives me a nostalgic feeling, but in a bad way. i know it's stupid, but think of it's just a burning memory from the caretaker's everywhere at the end of time album. it's how slow, how low, and the instruments present that do it for me. plus the effects on the inst as well.
