Good tech explanantion of the different engines. for the mild hybrid variants, i have few questions: 1. How good is the Maruti Engine? Because Quality of Toyota and Maruti Suzuki is significantly different. 2. For a customer like us, it feels like Maruti Suzuki cars and Toyota NeoDrive is same? Then what did Toyota do special for this variant? 3. After listening to Suzuki engine, most people will go back to other comepetitors. So is it better to buy Maruti? I am confused!
Engine is very refined for Maruti but don’t expect powerful output.Even Toyota engine is also not which gives you thrilling output .Main focus for both engines is Mileage only.
Nothing special just few cosmetic changes only when buying neodrive or Maruti mild hybrid engine,Maruti cost is less as it’s their engine here and Toyota cost is less for hybrid as it’s their tech.
If you need good headroom and legroom it will disappoint.I don’t like being in rear seat .If you need mileage and big size SUV for daily office commute ,thanks go for it,But if you need powerful engine than look for other options like turbo engines or Kushaq Taigun 1.5
Thank you! I have one more question, will the ISG in neodrive variants fill the Turbocharger requirement for the engine? In simple words will it just assist or Contribute in power difference?
Good but the drawback of 03 cylinder in strong hybrid is not explained whereas mild or neohybrid has 04 cylinder 4 cylinder is anytime more REFINED and is comparatively NOISELESS but it is not with 3 cylinder ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓ Please clarify here
Alternator is not used for starting the engine. For starting self motor is used. Alternator is used for charging battery. Plz correct ur video content.
Good explanation of neodrive. But Alternator is not the one starting a car. Starter (motor) starts the car and Alternator (it is a type of generator) charges the battery when engine is running. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternator_(automotive) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starter_(engine)
Yes there are high chances that S hybrid can start in this range even few bucks below.let finger crossed till price announcement. Also check out my video if you can buy from Haryana there is 15% discount upto 3 lakh.
I think hybrid cost factor is a huge negative, plus the headaches of battery maintenance.. the huge negative about any hybrid car is that it becomes useless if the battery is gone, it cannot work on fuel engine alone. If I pay 2 lakhs extra for hybrid over normal, the money i save with extra mileage is still negligible. Only for heavy urban user, there is benefit is cost saved due to good mileage, otherwise hybrid is a total waste. Yeah the good thing is, less pollution.
I am confuse btw hyrider (both engine) n Astor super variant. My budget is around 11 to 14 lac. Kindly help me in choose btw these. Or any other whichone is better. Creta seltos are not safe.
Good explanation on strong Hybrid and mild hybrid. But with difference of 6 KMs less mileage in Neodrive/mild hybrid compared to Strong Hybrid. It is worth taking Strong Hybrid. But hopefully cost difference will not be a lot, not more than 2 Lakhs. Other disadvantage with Strong Hybrid is it is not AWD or 4WD.
LET THE PRICE REVEALED AND THAN DECIDE and also if you got some subsidy on Strong Hybrid like in Haryana its 15% up to 3 lakh , so it will be a good choice.
Yes I think so but we don’t have that much options ,mostly Creta seltos Kushaq Taigun all have power around 100-110hp for natural aspirated engines. For power n fun drive go for Taigun Kushaq 1.5 turbo -150 hp .

Friend generator passes the electricity to batteries to charge them not alternator.
Good explanation of neodrive. But Alternator is not the one starting a car.
Starter (motor) starts the car and Alternator (it is a type of generator) charges the battery when engine is running.

Good content … which dealership has the car in display? … in my 2016 diesel brezza.. I have covered 34,000 KM till date… which option should I go for?
I think your drive is very less you can opt for Neodrive.you can check Moti Nagar toyota
@@motodocker thanks .. the power numbers on neo drive seems really low.. like underpowered compared to hybrid variants
Nice Explanation in technical terms 👍👍
I wish this type of hybrid comes in diesel engine. Petrol engines always lack in torque.

Nicely explained. Isn't neodrive engine little underpowered for a car of this size?
Yes I think so but we don’t have that much options ,mostly Creta seltos Kushaq Taigun all have power around 100-110hp for natural aspirated engines. For power n fun drive go for Taigun Kushaq 1.5 turbo -150 hp .
