Even though the bugs were terrible… This was still one of my favorite trips yet! BOMB Fishing, Lit Nature, Sick Waterfalls, and Good Buddy's. It doesn't get much better than that! Beauty! So many things have changed in my lifetime, nice to see something that hasn't. I fished/camped there with my dad in 1969. Still have some pics scanned into my computer. Looks exactly the same. My dad was really into flyfishing for smallmouth so that's what we did most of the time, it was a blast! Thanks for the great video, good job!

I went walleye fishing in the North West Territories of Canada three times on the Little Buffalo River, it flows into the Great Slave Lake. We never kept anything under 3 pounds. Our best day was 133 fish! There are no limits in the NWT. The biggest problem was driving 1-1/2 hours for ice to preserve the fillets. Plus sharpening the fillet knives! We had 98 pounds total for a three day trip. $200 for ice. 21 hours of daylight.3rd week of June 1988-1990. Fly fishing in Labrador at Igloo Lake was a very close second. That was a fly in on a float plane and catch and release with barbless flies. My PB was a 6 pound Brook Trout!😀🇨🇦

We just got back from our trip! We ate first every day! Walleye, northern, bass and lake trout! You burn a lot of calories so you gotta eat big.

Was wondering if you could try to tell the difference between Waleyes and Smallies I’ve never had either. Actually not even a pike. I’ve only had trout. Mosquitos were gross!

Hey murda, if you ever want to go back up to the bwca i guided there for years and can put you on some fatty 20" brook trout or some lakers up to 20lbs with regularity . Lots of good action and few people aroumd. My cabin is a great basecamp on a private lake full of walleye and big ass perch and gigantic pike.
