Bar Stool Industrial Style

- The thought behind this was to use a car wheel in the build. A Stool is a good start I suppose. Cutting the wheel in half gave me a shape that I liked and I built the stool around that as a base. The wood for the seat and foot rest plugs are from New Guinea Rose wood; such a beautiful timber to work with. The stool is one of many concept pieces that I build in the Industrial look which is my favourite (forme Industrious) . Please let me know what you think of it good or bad, honest is best. Thank you for taking the time to watch the build. all the best and I'll see you next time.
If you would like to help me you can contribute at the link below :) / formeindustrious - Навчання та стиль
I was pretty sure before, but now I know for a fact that I want to be Scott Turner when I grow up !!!!
DOOOOOOOD !!!! Such an awesome and inspiring build :-)
I'm Gob Smacked! Thanks Bill, you're making me blush, and best advise I can come up with; don't grow up and always keep smiling! I'll look forward to hearing you again next week on Reclaimed Audio Podcast, meanwhile, all the best to K.C the Bearded Dragons and yourself. ;)
brilliant use of the drill press as a wood lathe! I'll have to try that in my shop. And I agree, sometimes projects come together as you work on them. thanks
One of these days I'll make or buy a wood lathe, though in the interim just have to make do I suppose. Thanks for you comment!
Wow. Multi talented guy. Guy from a red planet!! Woodturning, metal welding, designing painting and video editing. Doing it alone! God bless you. Very clean and neat project. ❤️
Thank you! God bless you too :)

¡Gracias por tus palabras alentadoras! ¡Todo lo mejor para usted!
Hi Scott.. Love the build, the detailing of the weld patterns, the mix of such beautiful timber with the metal and especially the way you formed the footpegs, not just plonking for bits of pipe welded on. A proper talking point in anyone's home. ;) Well done.!!
Thanks Horrrk. I try and push myself, use my imagination to do something a little different. Some of the tools I have these days sure do help. Love your comment, much appreciated, cheers!

Gracias, tienes razón, es difícil de describir, pero casi tengo que formar parte de la creación para obtener la apariencia. ¡Saludos de Townsville, Australia!Thank you, you are right, it is hard to describe, but I almost have to become part of the creation to get the look and feel. Greetings from Townsville, Australia!

Great video. Linked from Tim Sway's channel. Spent some time in Australia....truly a beautiful country.
Thank you so much! Yes Strayia is a beautiful country and I am lucky enough to call it my home. All the best and thanks!
Super cool, I got tired just to watch the first cut and grinding, as I dont have a plasma cutter, and well...grinding...but what a nice stool, I may do one if I ever gather the courage to grind. The feet resting pieces is the best, great design and realization.
Yep lots of work unless you have computer design expertise and CNC plasma etc, however all can be achieved by a bit of hard work and determination. Thank you!
Scott Turner great job
Very nice. Nice 'hand scrapper' you have there.
An old knife I made many years ago out of stainless steel. I think that was the first time I used it ;)
