Her agility is better than ever here ! The mid belts are weighty and the ease in the upper belt register is impressive. Most of the excessive growl and rasp present in her 2018 tour is gone, her belts are CLEAR here. Her tessitura seems to sit lower , most of her old songs have been lowered ( 1+1 , Dangerously in love….). It does seem that she would have been able to sing them in the usual key , she is cautious about her voice . Key might be changed during the tour. I do think this is her true vocal prime !
@@Beytheevocalist. Dangerously in Love, Naughty Girl and 1+1 were lowered two semitones than original (1+1 was a semitone lower than original prior). I Care, Love Om Top and Partition were lowered by one semitone. I think everything else was in original key.

I think we also need to account that some of the songs are lowered for the flow of the show (transitions wise) she's deffo grown with her musical awareness in that department from Coachella which was epic in the way she smoothly went into other songs without making it obvious that a new song is going to be played next. She can still hit those notes, she hasn’t actually had an actual vocal decline, just her voice has changed since pregnancy & hitting 30 years old but her voice is still the same & to be completely fair, she doesn’t need F5 & F#5’s as well as G5’s. She only hits G5’s & F#5’s just to show off but she is perfectly fine singing D3-Eb5-Bb5 the whole time

Despite this she now has more power in her belts, crazy agility, good low notes, beautiful dynamics and fantastic head voice. Her voice will continue to age like fine wine 👌🏾 and I truly belive she is still in her vocal prime. A well rounded vocalist.

i personally think shes on a vocal decline. its just the natural course of life i guess. she still sounds stable to a certain extent but her mixed notes have lost their weight. that D5 at 5:15 sounds really hollow and flat to me. even her head voice doesnt sound the same in 1+1. she's opting to falsetto more now. id be lying if i say im not disappointed, but shes 40 now of course shes not sounding like what she used to sound like. still love her artistry though.

She lightened up her mix so quickly it impressed me greatly. She hasn’t declined! And that time stamp she’s mixing, so it’s not going to have the same depth nor robustness as her belts. So don’t be deceived by her different approaches. I actually think she’s improved immensely, compared to before where she used to be constricted higher. Now she’s free asl, robust and richer as a addition

@@yd3216 you don’t quite know what constriction is then😭😭😭just listen to her 2000s albums/ live performances and pay attention to the QUALITY around D/Eb5 and above. I think the studio version resentment is a good song to view, that displays her constriction before. I do think this wasn’t a issue tho from atleast early 2010s to date, maybe even around 2007 the Beyoncé experience when you can clearly hear her tech has shifted immensely in terms of freeness.
To be honest, most of her vocals sounded pre-recorded to me. Even songs like Rather Die Young and Love On Top sounded 100% pre-recorded. And there's an OBVIOUS decline when she sings live as it was evident in Dangerously in Love and 1+1. It's a pity she's not in her prime anymore, but she's still better than 99% of the artists out there.

@@Kylie_Knowles_Carey I agree except she was NEVER constricted higher, her money notes were F5/F#5 in the early to mid 00's and then E5/Eb5 in the early and mid 10's when her voice lowered after Blue.
@@yd3216 you don’t quite know what constriction is then😭😭😭just listen to her 2000s albums/ live performances and pay attention to the QUALITY around D/Eb5 and above. I think the studio version resentment is a good song to view, that displays her constriction before. I do think this wasn’t a issue tho from atleast early 2010s to date, maybe even around 2007 the Beyoncé experience when you can clearly hear her tech has shifted immensely in terms of freeness.

To be honest, most of her vocals sounded pre-recorded to me. Even songs like Rather Die Young and Love On Top sounded 100% pre-recorded. And there's an OBVIOUS decline when she sings live as it was evident in Dangerously in Love and 1+1. It's a pity she's not in her prime anymore, but she's still better than 99% of the artists out there.
Yeah, I'm starting to think most of these were pre-recorded vocals because her actual live voice has more depth and weight (it's evident that it is a lower voice).
