Do you have a favorite knife, axe, saw or multitool? I'd personally love to hear from you and I am sure our community would love to hear all the different ideas when it comes to this topic!
@@GreyManPrepping I've been thinking about starting to carry a multitool.
Thanks for Sharing. I am a big fan of any cutting tool. My favorite cutting tool is a "Hatchet". A Hatchet can do what a knife can do, but a knife cannot do what a Hatchet does. Stay Safe.
Thank you for sharing, and please do the same! 🙏
My husband likes his Leatherman. He does have a lot of knives though. Thanks Grey. God Bless 🙏❤️🙏
Nice! And God bless you and yours, Linda! 😊🙏
Afternoon Grey. Saw the video title and involuntarily I made Tim the Toolman Taylor caveman grunting with a bit of drool. 😁
🤣🤣 that's hilarious
😂😂
Becker urban survival tool - looks like a winner. My favorite out of them all. Great info. Thanks. 👍
Good choice! I personally love the thing, it's my 2nd one. 😆
With the knives we have, than add the razor knives, axe ir hatchets, the best thing we purchased recently is that mini chainsaw for pruning. It's so amazing, and quite.
Thank you for showing us the knives.
Is there a brand mini you like?
I'm going to have to accept this review request from this company that sells those mini chainsaws. Everyone seems to be talking about them! 😁👍
Isn't that mini chainsaw wonderful? My son made fun of it (and me) when he first saw it. He sang a different tune after he borrowed it to use when pruning 40 feet off the ground! I got it with 2 batteries, accessories, and a case as well as a charger. So glad someone else recommends it too!
I have a Kata that is good for a lot of cutting, chopping and general mayhem.TY Grey nice to see some of your knives❤😊
@mark8964 Awesome and my pleasure, Mark! 😁👍
Thank you GreyMan ❤️✝️, I love your knife collection, I wish you could have shown even more of it. 😊 I was waiting for you to show the hatchets..
@rakamas Thank you, If I had pulled everything out, we'd be watching a 2 hour video, lol 😆
I don't think I'd pack them around, but I had a pair of tin snips save the day today.
I was wondering if anyone was gonna mention tools like that, as well as maybe a small size pair of bolt cutters.
This was very informative Grey, I like the fact how you touched on the differences in the using an axe vs saw and calories burned when using the two🤗
Glad it was helpful! Have a blessed evening 🙏😊
Awesome collection brother! I can tell we have the same taste in our tools for preparedness. Appreciate ya my friend.
I appreciate yall as well 🤘🇺🇲
Multi-tool, fighting knife, filet knife, kitchen knife, bushcraft knife, saw, hatchet, awl, boring tool, small ax, skinning knife, medical knives, throwing knife, butchery set, gutting knives, ice pick, bayonet. 😊🌶🇸🇴
@@pepperprepper5120 Great list! 😁
Nice knives! I liked them 👍
Thanks so much, Cbass! 😁🙏
Lol, my favorite sharp tool is my mini chainsaw.😄 Also have a folding saw that I love and use all the time. I'll be using it in the next day or so to cut back the bamboo in our pool area.😬 I use a box cutter more often than a knife but I do have a few. including a beautiful KABAR. Blessings, my friend. Have an awesome weekend.
@JT-2012 How are those mini chainsaws. I've had at least a dozen companies reach out to me to review them. 😆
@@GreyManPrepping Jan Penland bought one and loved it so I bought one and love it.👍 Don't know if they're all good but my Dghiong works great and comes with everything, including eye glasses & gloves. Got it from Amazon.
@@JT-2012 Awesome! Thanks for the info 😊🙏
I've been wondering about mini chainsaws! Sure could use one around here if I could physically manage and maintain it.😊
@@cp7730 They're easy to operate and lightweight. You just need to take your time and be safe.
I do like my edc Gerber.
Gerber makes some solid options for sure! 😁🤘
ooooh we love the collection brother! I can only imagine what ya didn't show! Great vid brother! 🤘
Shhhh, lol gotta leave some things to the imagination 🤣 Thanks for the support brother! 🙏
Spyderco for folder.
Silky Gomboy folding saw.
Cold Steel Trail Hawk.
SOG Tanto for fixed blade.
All very solid choices! Thanks fir sharing. 😎👍
Although my interest in knives only involves cooking and cutting garden weeds, it was nice to see your perspective.
@hoosierpioneer I appreciate that. Honestly, having great knives in the kitchen as well as a pair or two of quality garden shears is important! 😁
I’d love a review on how to build a bug out bag, especially for a woman! I just bought a nice backpack too, and going thru what I have in it. I have to change for winter here where I live. A review would be great.
Noted! 😁
@@Jean.A.squirrel Coming soon! 😁
Thank you! I like the Khukri knife.
@@Forest_Actual Absolutely a great knife! 😁
Great video Greyman I collect and make myself for 6 years now I have learnt over the years to avoid the Rambo style knives with the hollow handles as they only have a very small tang and nothing beats a full tang knife in my books.
@rodneymiddleton1044 I agree, brother! And thank you 😁👍
Great video thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching brother!
Awesome video bro. I have been carrying a small pocket knife for over thirty years now and it has a serrated edge on it. I used it on several occasions when I was a corrections officer in the N.Y.state prison system to cut down suicidal inmates and then a couple of times to cut seatbelts .I still carry it, but I have upgraded to a spyderco serrated knife with a rounded tip for seatbelts and the like. If your not familiar with this company, I refer you to the movie "Cliffhanger" and the Ralph Waites character who used one to cut down an injured man from his parachute. He used a drop point spyderco. I also have several different axes and hatchets and hand saws foldable and not.
Thanks, brother! I have a spyderco Paramilitary 2 with green scales it's one of my favorites. They are a solid company! 😁
Love my BK2
@@fiathedge1795 It's definitely an awesome kinfe to have! It's handles pretty everything I throw at it! 😁👍
Thank you Grey for another great video. I personally am not into this type thing but you always give me great ideas for gifts for my boys who are into this stuff. 😊
You are so welcome! Have a wonderful weekend! 😊🙏
I love my strongarm it has done me well, I also have the LMF II solid all around knife for the BOB
I've been looking at that LMF, I've heard great things about and have watched several reviews on it as well. 😁👍
My hubby is the tool person i have some good kitchen knives that are my favorite
Having a good set of kitchen knives is very important as well. 😊
Thanks for the video I definitely need to get a good knife great review 🕊️
Thanks, Michelle 😁🙏
If only had one I’d like a big convex grind bush knife. I got a joker nomad 6.5 a year ago and backyard looks like beavers moved in. Gonna try Bark River next maybe the 1.5 or 2.
Got the Skrama and 110 puukko coming this week and they’ll probably win out as my pack with a saw. The bark river and Jokers are just too pretty. If I ever get a BR 3 it’ll probably just hang on the wall. ❤️🔥
Honestly these are some great choices
THKS
😁👍
I brought my multi tool on overseas study trip, ends up using a pair of scissors more than anything.
If I am going to recommend anything it is a pair of folding scissors, probably wont be very expensive but really see more use than any knives I have.
Multi tool with scissors built in will be fine but not really good for sharpening once they got blunt.
Some multitools have great scissors, others not so much. I do carry a small sewing kit with a nice pair of folding scissors in the kit. Another pair of scissors I carry is trauma sheers, which are part of my Truma kits, which are extremely sharp and durable. Thanks for sharing your perspective on this.
My Mora is strapped to BOB.
Nice! 😎
Miss the live shows on Friday nights.
Do you mean the Monday lives or my old Thursday shows "Late Night with Grey" show?
@@GreyManPrepping Monday with you and alaskie
Oh, OK, we should be getting back on track real soon. Rudy had some personal things pop up.
I was so happy that you finally got the 5's done! Great video and my husband said that becker urban survival tool peak his interest!
Agreed!
It's a solid addition for an urban kit, I'm sure it would even come in handy for many other scenarios as well. 😎
