I completely understand what you’re saying about taking time with relationships and taking a step back, but then that wouldn’t be me being authentic.. That would be me reducing myself, my passion, my energy to meet the lower energy of the other person.. Why do I have to change and temper and improve and suppress everything about myself, the way I think, the way I do things, the way I express myself.. Why am I not able to just be me.. What’s wrong with jumping head first into love.. What’s wrong with wanting passion, intimacy, intensity, excitement, ecstasy.. I don’t want to hold back, I don’t want to take my time and, it dulls the potential experiences and reduces passion down to something boring and bland..
