She has served on the Turku-route well. 32 years without serious accidents and almost always on time. I've lost count on how many times i've travelled with her and it always feels like home when i board her.
M/S Amorella is a gorgeous vessel and it's doing great even after 31 years. No doubt my favorite vessel of the Viking Line fleet the hull itself is beautiful and very interesting! Sad that she will be sold in 2021.
Odličan brod, i dan danas je lijep brod. Amorella ubrzo napušta Baltik, bilo bi lijepo kad bi povezivala Split s Italijom. Amorellu će zamijeniti brod Viking Glory na Ruti između Švedske i Finske.
Beside the vessel, I'm impressed by Croatia at that time could build a for western standards modern ship... Remember Croatia was part of Yugoslavia and the communist block! Today it's a different story. Soon there will be no ship building industry in Europe at all...
Is it possible to get the original video via E-mail? It's a shame that a lot of the sound have been cut. I'm an avid shipping enthusiast and a collector when it comes to Viking Line related stuff. I have travelled on this ship to many times to count.
Unfortunately, someone copyrighted 200 year old music piece that plays in the background, so as far as I know, the only way to have this video here is if those parts are muted...
Yeah, thanks for uploading it anyways. Do you think there is a way to find the original version to watch or download elsewhere? I am interested in the history of Amorella.
@@ThinkCleverAndSmart I've found this video in the shipyard where Amorella was built, and I've decided to upload it on youtube since I couldn't find it on the internet and believe me, I tried... Regarding the history of Amorella, she is admired mostly since at the time of her building, she was one of the best and most luxurious ships out there. I've had the luck to work together with one ship designer that worked on Amorella, and who later worked on about 100 new ships, and for him, nothing ever came close to her... Difference between Amorella and for example today's largest cruise ships is that Amorella is a real ship under her skin, whilst Oasis of the Seas or some other mega cruise ship is just a floating hotel and resort. Amorella was designed and built to sail every day through the narrow and icy waterways and to connect cities and people, and the fact that she has been doing it every day for the last 30 years makes her stand out and special even today. And the way she looks is so subtle, her silhouette is simple but yet timeless and beautiful. She was and still is the pride of the city in which she has been built.
I sent a comment here including my email adress if it would be possible to send the video with the audio to me, but since it was a link, youtube decided to mark it as spam probably. It was thinkclever dot andsmart @ gmail dot com

Ili još bolje Dubrovnik i Rijeku preko Splita. Vratimo je doma!
Može i tak
Amorella is now Mega Victoria.
It looks a bit different from when Viking Grace was built, this video shows how much times have changed

Hello, can you send me the original file with audio :-) probably removed because of copyright issues?
Hello, is there any way to get the video with all sound? Seems to be missing a lot of sound in this one. Thanks!
