Yeah it's very ridiculous but it was a blessing in disguise. Got a free lesson on how to put the tube and tyre on without pinching it. Now I don't need to ever go back to a bike shop for this.

You can patch the tube if you pinch it and you can patch your old tube as well. Keep it as a spare. A bicycle or motorcycle patch kit is all you need. I prefer the ones that use a flame to bond the patch. I've been doing that since I was 10 years old. I'm 60 now. Also, get you some better tire irons for this job. You're going to need them in the future. Glad you got it done.
I installed my knobby Tire with hands-only didn't even need Tire spoons to put it on. You have to get the tire really warm with a hair dryer to make it pliable and use Napa ruglyde, it's good stuff so use a five gallon bucket to put the rim on top of works great. Took me less than 20 minutes to put the tire on
Yeah I did it without tools too after I was told that would be the best way not to pinch the new tube. Did you put a knobby on the 16x? Funny I'm just reading this comment because I just put a new knobby on my Sherman. Uploading that vid now.
Changing tyres is all about technique. I've changed loads of them having worked in a motorcycle workshop. When you've changed a super hard knobbly with extra thick inner tube and tyre grippers on a dirt bike everything else is easy. You should be able to pull the 16x apart with your eyes closed now😂 can't believe the bike shop refusing to fit your tyre. At least they were cool enough to give advice. Saved money and learned some skills so a double win👍
Yeah true. Getting it off though is a lot about the tools. In my last vid I couldn't find my good tyre levers and had to use this super flimsy one. But for putting the new tyre on I did it at the bike shop and they told me that it's best not to use tools at all.
And yeah it was definitely a bonus getting that free lesson. They were very cool for doing that. Was a blessing in disguise and I'm very glad it went down that way. Now I feel super relaxed about my next tyre change. Even looking forward to it.
Subbed recently so maybe you explained in another video. Why didn’t you change the rim? I know it’s probably not very noticeable but you already had the motor out.
Hey bro thanks for subbing. The reason for not changing the rim is just because of the cost. You need to buy a whole new motor+rim together which is about $400. I don't mind this rim though. Even with the dents it's an awesome ride.
I was wrong yeah but actually it was a channel called EUC Army. Maybe Mickie also punctured them but I definitely saw that on EUC Army. Maybe you've seen that channel.

They said it's because it's not legal. They were worried that I could sue them later if I had an accident. Didn't make sense to me because if it's illegal I'd have no recourse for having an accident on the road.
I had a bad time doing that in the past. This is actually my 2nd rim. On my original rim I F'd it up trying to straighten out a dent just like the one on this rim. I used a block of wood and a rubber hammer. I regretted it bigtime because it was perfectly fine with the dents. Rode like a dream still.

I used to wonder who was using this tape for their ducks lol. to this day I still say it like Duck tape, knowing its Duct tape. used to be used for the seams on an air duct system I believe.
hahaha that made me laugh. It is a bit far gone at this point lol. I actually ordered new side covers not long ago. They should be arriving any day now. I'm curious to see how it's gonna look. If it looks brand new again it'll be super cray after all this thing's been through. Goodbye to that duck tape lol
@@arcrides6841 yah it should look sick again. Hopefully the cushion panels are not stuck on it yet, so that u can screw the side cover on and the place the cushion panels on it. That was a pretty ugly oversight they had, putting the screws under the cushion panels where its using strong adhesive to hold the cushions down and we have to go and mess it all up just to get to the screws.

Thanks for the tips. I'll keep the old tube and patch it up. They're like $35 each.
