They expected her to act older then she was she was a kid when she was brought here and yet they expected so much from her when the kids are older she’s only a teenager. Blaming her for them losing or not being able to see their mother was messed up.
I think that's the point of the story. They're children, they're human. They're looking for something to blame after losing their parents because they're young and didn't know any better. The author intentionally wrote them as flawed characters so that they will have room for growth. Which they did actually become decent characters later on, and even before she died they were attempting to make up for their mistakes even if it was late. The adults trying to bring her down were definitely messed up though.

I read the manhwa thrice and i cried every single time. Then i read the novel and omg..it makes me cry harder because the novel shows more details about what happened. As a novel/manhwa reader, i can say this series are perfect. No other manhwa that has this very detail art style(i think remarried empress also has this kind of style) and every single panel of the webtoon are very well made. The MC of this story is as realistic as one could be. Even when reborn in same place, she still made some mistakes, she still dont know if her action is good or not. She even begged her sis in law eventhough she slapped her and cut their tie due to something had happened. She didnt suddenly become OP or become a monster unlike the typical reborn MC. The plot also quite dark yet still enjoyable with the funny kiddos and the villain is fck as one could be. The romance is too cute and bearable, not force and not annoying clingy type. Again, it is so realistic. The male interest is freaking handsome. Owh, the MC also has this beautiful plain look which elevates my liking towards her, not the usual diva-like style like other novel. I think this novel should be as popular as other novel but i guess people not interested with this kind of setting. They like OP woman with clingy OP husband/male lead.
I totally agree! The story and the manhwa art style and coloring is really good! The artist really know when to use colors for different moods. It should be popular but then judging the current generation of readers who are still quite young, they don’t really go with darker mature themes. Maybe it’s hard to relate for them. It’s a shame that they will only appreciate this later on when they grow up.

To be honest, I read this manhwa (a Stepmother Marchon) several times and reread it several times, yet I still cannot grasp the story , I feel like there are just so many deep and complicated emotions to the point I cannot keep up, another thing is that the story its self is unique and so REALISTIC ? Seriously, everytime I reread it I feel like I'm reading it for the first time ! I find myself discovering new emotions, understanding new concepts about life, family, and love ... Although the romantic side in this story is still makes feel HEAVY? Like dark romance not light one.. anyway, it's such a unique story that makes you just can't help but enjoy it this is my opinion about it 😊
That freaking crown prince really had a gut to send someone's wife a freaking jewelry gift...in the manhwa, the scenes with johannes is breaking my heart so much.. eventhough i knew it before after reading some spoiler..but when read it in manhwa, it is so painful...and 2nd child as always will always cause trouble and actually what he said is quite true though. That is what everyone around them is thinking about shuri and jeremy. I really like jeremy 😂. Jeremy's character is one of the best i have seen in a manhwa especially as someone who seems neutral about love, like he doesnt really care eventough there are some hints about his feelings from what i read in some comments. And still, stepmother marchen has the best couple. Author had done a good job making shuri-nora slow yet steady loveline story And nora is also a 2nd male MC which is a bonus point for me. About o hara..i do ship her with jeremy, their look are superior. But author has the last say. In manhwa, o hara is pretty much has the most beautiful character design. The artists who drew ohara(and stepmother marchen manhwa overall) deserve so much love..
