I have a very social wild turkey that shows up in front of my house every day. It started one day a few months ago when I went out to feed the squirrels and heard a lone turkey gobbling out in the forest. I gobbled back at him and he came about 20 feet away from me, so I threw him a few handfuls of seed. Since then, if he’s not waiting out front for me, I can gobble to him and he comes from the forest to me. About a month ago, he brought a girlfriend with him. 💕 Too sweet!!

Heard more gobbling at distant gunshots this year than anything actually had one that I'd missed that's all he'd gobble at had a friend that lived mile out 2 from where I was hunting go outside and shoot here and there when I needed to check him

Great explanation. I have turkeys at gobble all year long around me. Bow hunting season in the fall I hear them gobble in the mornings many times.
