Me too! Ballet and dancing mean so much to me. I've had an ankle problem so I haven't been able to dance very much for a year but I've figured out how to fix it and I will start Ballet again during the Winter.

It would have been so cool to have been in the streets and see that happen! It makes me wish that I could do that in the street. It's a really beautiful video and I think hits at the heart of dance. It's not just about the stage. Dance can be anywhere! That's what this podcast is all about, after all.
i love this video and it reminds me of my friend bcuz she likes to dance, but not just at her classes-- she doesn't walk, she dances ballet everywhere she goes!
i started at 15 and went on to study at university (not as good as dance school but best in country i was in) untill i dislocated my knee. you could definatly have a great time doing it n take exams and move up the grades. as for ending up in a company/dancing job chances r low purely as there are soo many dancers out there trained since like 3! BUT you do hear of the odd story of late starter goin far. either way join a class n start dancing because it FEELS fantastic! like flying. good luck x
This reminds me of Step Up, I don't know if you've seen the movie but it's a lot about urban dance. Beautiful video. I'm not a dancer, but I do have a dancer's soul, because I can dance my heart away. :)
@almamilania you have to buy a dye. Point shoes are almost never made in different colors. Our company actually colored them black with an industrial sharpie once. lol
no, not even if you want to want to be professional. ballet gives you a hard workout and you will naturally look like that. My best friend is professional. Take lessons it is extremely fun, good luck to you if you decide to take classes. I love it.

i loved how they crossed the road at 0:26 :) music is also in harmony, little bell sounds (xylophone or whatever) and ballerinas steps
